I’ve mastered 90% of the topics in 3d design and i love this app / website . 10 stars out of 5 ### 5/5 — Fun and easy to get started! *2026-07-15* Tinkercad is the best. I started off barely knowing anything, only making very simple (and very bad) designs. But I grew overtime, just one would with drawing, and I realized TInkercad can be used to make amazing, complicated designs, eventually ending up with my first staff pick! It feels so rewarding to finish something on Tinkercad, and it’s easy to start most things too. I love the challenges, specifically Tinktober, where there’s a list of one thing to make for each day of October. It’s specific enough that you’d know what to make, but vague enough to make it unique. I really can’t think of any complaints to make. Sometimes there’s an annoying glitch, but those are always fixed soon. The way you have to try to design stuff is so weird. You have to jump through hoops just trying to erase part of the object. Drawing a “hole” box placing it over the part you want erased, and then grouping them together. You can’t select or just choose part of the object to duplicate. I wish it was more like indesign or illustrator and give you complete control. The align tool is also super basic and you can’t snap to align things. You’re not going to be making 40K miniatures using this or anything, but you can create just about any functional object that you can craft using basic shapes and their negatives.
