## What is Tinnitus Music Player?

Enjoy your favorite music and potentially reduce the loudness of your tinnitus.

***** Important: You must know the frequency (in Hz) of your tinnitus to use this application at your own risk. It may or may not work for you and this app is NOT a medical product. It is just a music player filtering out a specified frequency. *****

A scientific study has shown that listening to music where the tinnitus frequency has been filtered out may reduce the tinnitus loudness (classical tailor-made notched music - TMNM). The study is referenced on the support web page and in the app.

### 1/5 — Good concept, but music library appears empty

*2025-02-16*

Title says it all

**Developer response:** In the information section in the app states the following: "Choose songs from your music library which are stored on your device and are not DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected. Songs which are in the cloud or are only available via streaming cannot be used." Please make sure that you have such songs on your device. If the music library is still empty, please get in touch with me.

### 4/5 — Seems pretty good

*2022-10-12*

I was seeing an error when I tried to load my own music into the player but that turned out to be my own fault as Apple Music had been offloaded to save on storage. The developer gave a very prompt response to my review which helped me to figure out what was wrong. It seems to be working well now.

**Developer response:** It appears that this can happen from time to time and has nothing to do with Tinnitus Music Player (do a Google search with the error message to see various suggestions how to fix it).

At any rate I suggest you uninstall the app, switch off the device and then re-install it.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2022-06-11*

I love the new update, this is my go to app for tinnitus relief, only issue is the music player stops after every song when screen is locked, I have to tap the screen for the next song, if you could fix this that would be awesome, I use this app to sleep so I need the music to keep on playing automatically even when screen is locked. Thank you so much for this app.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback - highly appreciated! This is now fixed in 3.1.

### 3/5 — Hope it works

*2022-03-06*

Note you must download music to your device AND it cannot play copy protected songs

### 5/5 — The app works very well

*2020-09-11*

I haven’t seen any changes because I just downloaded the app, but the app is easy to use and is exactly what I was searching to filter frequencies through music.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2020-01-29*

Music won’t play

### 5/5 — Thanks for this app

*2012-11-10*

Anxious to see if it will make a difference!
