## What is Tinnitus Relief?

The ringing won't stop. It doesn't have to.

You can't stop the waves. But you can learn to surf them. MyPattern helps your brain change its relationship with tinnitus, not by drowning it out, but by teaching your brain to stop treating it like an alarm. It's called habituation, and it's how people with tinnitus get their attention back.

This isn't a single sound played on loop. It's a complete program of sound therapies and mental tools shaped around you and your tinnitus, paired with the story of why your brain won't let the sound go, and how to loosen its grip.

13 SOUND THERAPIES IN ONE APP

The largest tinnitus sound library in any app, built on approaches from published tinnitus research.

- Notched Sound Therapy (the classic, based on Pantev 2010 research)
- S Tones (40 Hz pulse stimulation)
- Acoustic Coordinated Reset (Tass style desync)
- CAABT, DFCRS, Auditory Discrimination Training
- Personalized to your tinnitus pitch

 ...and more

Every ear is different. Explore the library, find the sound that softens yours, and switch any time.

PERSONALIZED IN MINUTES

A 60 second quiz finds your unique tinnitus frequency, type, and severity. Your therapies are tuned to you, not a one size fits all preset.

A PROGRAM THAT REBUILDS YOUR PEACE, DAY BY DAY

The backbone of MyPattern is CBT, the approach with the strongest research behind it. Short daily lessons that build on each other, the way habits do.

- Audio lessons on how tinnitus actually works
- Exercises for stress, sleep, and anxiety
- Daily check ins to notice how far you've come
- New content added regularly, your practice deepens over time

PHYSICAL RELIEF FOR THE SPIKES

Sometimes the noise rises with tension in your jaw or neck. MyPattern includes hands on exercises to release it.

- Occiput tapping
- Seated neck laterals
- Mastoid massage
- TMJ jaw release

SOS TOOLS FOR THE HARD MOMENTS

Spike at 3am? Can't focus? Overwhelmed? Tap SOS. Guided breathing, grounding, and calming audio to walk you through the storm until it passes. Because it passes.

MILO, YOUR AI TINNITUS COMPANION

Ask anything about your tinnitus, your therapies, or the thoughts that come with the noise. Milo draws on published tinnitus research, not generic AI chatter. Milo is an AI assistant and doesn't give medical advice.

SLEEP SOUNDSCAPES

Gentle rain, distant thunder, summer night, cosmic dreams. Soundscapes made for tinnitus ears, built to keep you company until sleep does.

PROGRESS YOU CAN SEE

Your streak, your therapy time, your trends, your calendar. Habituation is slow the way seasons are slow. You don't see it change day to day. Then one afternoon you realize you forgot to listen for it.

THE SCIENCE, SIMPLIFIED

Somewhere along the way, your brain filed this sound under threat. That's why it feels loud, urgent, impossible to ignore. MyPattern helps you refile it, from alarm to wallpaper, from siren to ticking clock. The sound may stay. The struggle doesn't have to.

This doesn't happen overnight. It takes daily practice. That's exactly what the app is built for.

IMPORTANT: MyPattern is a self-help wellness tool, not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. It is not a substitute for professional care. Consult a qualified healthcare provider about tinnitus or hearing related symptoms, especially if they are new or changing.

### 5/5 — Very optimistic

*2026-08-26*

I just downloaded this app…it’s already helping. Such a relief. I’m going to keep going with this program. So far I am amazed!!!

### 5/5 — Best Tinnitus app

*2026-08-18*

I've tried a few apps in the App Store and find this one the best. Although a subscription is needed it's customised to your tinnitus sound. What differentiates this app from others I have tried is they have a range of about 10 to 15 researched sound therapies available customised to your tinnitus frequency some they admit are proven research but early days and I'm finding some relief while working through those. The guided talks through these therapy sounds is a nice touch. They also have what most of what the other free apps I've tried offer and that is a range of nature sounds and patterns that you can listen to individually or create a custom track with layered sounds. So far I'm really hopeful and impressed and feel in 7 days maybe some improvement already

### 3/5 — Needs a longer free trial

*2026-08-17*

This app has 10 exercise exercises that you need to work through and rate and it presents one a day. However, you only get a seven day free trial. I found myself having to do two exercise exercises a day to get through all of them to make a fair decision as to if this is the app for me.

I feel like a 14 day trial would be much better for this app so I would really know before having to pay out any money. If any of the exercises are something I believe would help me long time.

### 2/5 — Narrator needs to shut up

*2026-08-08*

The narrator needs to shut up and let us listen for a minute. I have to turn the volume up really loud to hear some of these sounds, and then his voice comes banging loudly against my ears. incredibly annoying.

### 1/5 — Worsened

*2026-07-20*

After the first session my tinnitus is even louder. Highly don’t recommend

**Developer response:** Sorry your first session felt that way. What you describe is common when starting out: the sessions make you pay close attention to your tinnitus, so for a while you notice it more. Go at whatever pace feels comfortable, keep the volume low, and skip anything that feels sharp. The first 7 days are free, so there is no cost in trying a few gentler sessions, and no harm done if you decide it is not for you.

### 4/5 — Too much talking

*2026-07-18*

After the initial explanation, I have to turn up the volume to my by sound appropriate. Then this get interrupted by LOUD talking! Very do concerting and non-productive!

### 5/5 — Topp

*2026-07-06*

Um app muito efetivo, embora seja um processo de uso a longo prazo, ainda sim, foi um renovador de esperanças de banir meu zunido.

### 5/5 — Please refund my money

*2026-07-03*

The wrong email was used and I cant log in to use the app. I’ve emailed for a refund and cancellation. Please respond. Bad customer service support.

### 3/5 — Auto subscriptions

*2026-06-18*

I was charged for a yearly subscription despite cancelling during the free trial period. After contacting support, I was able to obtain a refund. The issue was eventually resolved. I recommend users monitor their subscriptions.

### 1/5 — £7000 per year

*2026-04-14, version 1.3.0*
