## What is Tinsel?

Keep track of Christmas gifts without trying to remember it all. Save ideas as you spot them, plan gifts for each person, and see what's bought, what's wrapped and what you've spent.

Start free with up to four people, plus a household list. Need more people? Unlimited People is an optional one-time purchase. No subscription.

SAVE GIFT IDEAS ALL YEAR
Take a photo, add a note or share an image from another app. Keep each idea with the person it's for until you're ready to buy.

KNOW WHAT'S STILL TO DO
Track gifts from planning and ordering through to wrapping and giving. Keep your shopping list and progress together.

KEEP AN EYE ON SPENDING
Set budgets for each person and for Christmas overall. Compare planned costs with actual spending.

KEEP SURPRISES PRIVATE
Protect your lists with optional Face ID or device passcode lock. No account to create, no ads, and your lists work offline.

REMEMBER THE LITTLE THINGS
Keep card recipients and addresses for next year. Record received gifts and thank-yous. Plan food, decorations and trips alongside your presents.

When Christmas is over, look back at past plans and choose which ideas to carry into next year. Export an encrypted backup to keep a separate copy or move your plans to another iPhone.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-24

Updated app artwork for a more consistent look.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-18

New app icon and small fixes.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-18

Tinsel List is now free to download. The free app covers up to four people plus your household list, and everything else stays free. A one-time purchase called Unlimited People lifts the four-person limit if you need more room. If you bought Tinsel List before this update, you keep everything unlocked, nothing to do on your end. The keyboard now goes away when you tap Done or return on any field, and the buttons at the bottom of the screen step aside while you type.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-15

The App Store page now reads in more languages.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-14

Fixed a setup dead end when your selected Christmas year is archived. You can reopen that plan when no other plan is active. Updated the App Store description.
