## What is Tint?

Find the closest match for any hobby paint in seconds. Tint compares more than 5,000 miniature and scale model paints from 21 brands, shows you what you already own, and keeps your mixing recipes in one place. Everything runs on your device, with no account and no internet connection needed.

MATCH ACROSS BRANDS
- Pick a paint and see its nearest equivalents from every other brand, ranked by how close they really are
- Matches use CIEDE2000, the color-difference formula built around how the eye sees color, with a clear percentage for each one
- Search by name or product code, filter by brand, and see HEX, RGB and L*a*b* values for every paint
- Metallics, washes and one-coat paints are labeled, so a match never surprises you on the model

YOUR PAINT RACK
- Check whether you already own a color before you buy a duplicate
- Track bottle count, fill level and storage location; paints that are running low get flagged
- Keep a shopping list for your next trip to the hobby store

RECIPE JOURNAL
- Save step-by-step recipes with drop ratios and techniques
- Preview what a mix will look like before you mix it (Pro)
- Add a photo of the finished model (Pro)

COLOR INSPECTOR
- Tap any point in a photo to sample its color and find the nearest paint
- Sample colors in real time with the live camera (Pro)
- See the closest paint that is already in your rack (Pro)

FREE AND PRO
Tint is free to use with matching across every brand, search, photo sampling, up to 10 paints in your rack, 10 paints on your shopping list and 1 recipe. Tint Pro removes the limits and adds the live camera, mix preview, recipe photos, iCloud sync across your devices, CSV export and collection stats.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no tracking. All color math and image sampling happen on your device.

Available in English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Korean, on iPhone and iPad, in light and dark mode.

Note: paint colors are based on published color values and are approximate. Real paint can look different depending on light, primer and finish.

SUBSCRIPTION
Tint Pro is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
