## What is TintSlate?

TintSlate is a private, offline client, hair-color formula, and service ledger for professional colorists. Record the facts behind each service without an account, subscription, advertising, analytics, AI, or cloud dependency.

• Keep client identity, code, tags, notes, archive status, and a complete service timeline
• Record one or more formula bowls with brand, series, shade, role, exact grams, duration, result, and notes
• Scale a saved formula to a target weight while preserving component proportions
• Attach selected result photos that are re-encoded locally with location metadata removed
• Preserve original service snapshots while corrections, photo removals, voids, and restores append an audit trail
• Search clients and export a readable client PDF
• Create checksum-verified backups, preview them, then merge or replace local data safely
