### 3/5 — Difficult

*2022-08-09, version 1.0.98*

It’s fun but difficult. I die a lot. It’s also hard to get more monsters too.

### 4/5 — So close to being amazing!

*2021-07-19, version 1.0.98*

I desperately want to enjoy this game because I love the dev team, but there are a couple fundamental issues that break the experience for me.

First off, I have no issue with the progression system, difficulty, grindyness, card availability or monster capture mechanics, any of that. It’s A bit grindy, RNG may screw you over at times, but I’m enjoying the game with just the “no ads” package purchased (gotta support the devs!).

MAIN ISSUE: for a “deck building” game, you have surprisingly little control over your deck. You can toggle which TYPE of card you want in your deck, but not how MANY. The only way to control this is to permanently fuse cards together, which can be expensive, and may make cards stronger than you WANT them to be (for capture purposes). More control over the deck, deck loadouts, multiple characters with separate decks - these are the elements that would make the game feel more strategic and less like an IAP grab. It would be great to be able to build decks specifically for capturing monsters, then jump back to an aggressive deck to climb the towers!

SECOND ISSUE: A little disappointed that companion monsters all act the same - seems like a bit of a thrown-in mechanic that doesn’t add much to the game for me. Their actions as dungeon monsters are cool and varied, but there’s no description of what all their stats and movement patterns mean, and I still can’t figure it out!

There’s no wiki or subreddit, or updates lately, so I really hope this game is still getting some attention! I STILL play Tiny Dice Dungeon sometimes, and I feel like this game could still have some good longevity to it!

### 4/5 — Good game

*2020-06-21, version 1.0.88*

Pretty good game still needs work, namely need to improve deck building and card diversity

### 3/5 — Progression extremely slow

*2020-05-21, version 1.0.83*

There is a really slow progression in this game where monsters get EXTREMELY strong really fast and makes the game very slow. Getting cards is also extremely slow even when I have the latest update the card limit is still in place as I remember it not being there a couple of weeks ago but after the latest update it was put back for no reason which makes you get basically 9 cards a day and while you keep playing you still have TONS of coins left which gives them no use basically.

### 4/5 — Really fun

*2020-05-19, version 1.0.83*

I really enjoy this game and play it every day however the power gap between me and the monsters is too big. Even though all of my gear is legendary level I am still struggling on the second tower. Although I can upgrade it by combining them it is near impossible to get another legendary

### 4/5 — I like it but it has some issues

*2020-04-26, version 1.0.79*

To hard to get new weapons and monsters as you get higher in the tower and the game keeps closing while I’m playing which costs me the stamina I used to start the match I’ve had the app forcibly close 4 times already today. Please fix this.

### 4/5 — Good but really slow

*2020-04-25, version 1.0.79*

After playing the game for a few days, I’ve had a lot of fun; the light strategy and monster collecting is a good combination.

The only problem I’ve seen is that progression is extremely slow, making you grind a lot unless you pay money to speed things up. That would be alright, since the game itself if great, but they also have ads integrated.

I noticed that the game has only recently been released, so maybe (hopefully) it’s just a balancing thing.

### 4/5 — Great game👌

*2020-04-22, version 1.0.79*

This game has been amazing, quick and easy to learn mechanics, an battle pass like reward system along with daily quests, and several different and creative enemy’s and characters. The waiting is a little annoying, but it’s a mobile game. Overall, great stuff, keep up the good work☺️

### 3/5 — It has potential

*2020-04-20, version 1.0.76*

I want to like this game, I really do. The devs seem passionate about what they created and it makes me want to support them.
BUT
Con: for a game with a strong focus on monster breeding, it’s exceptionally hard to capture a monster.
Possible solution: Remove some rng. The net should be an always-available option and capture success should be based on one dice roll only.
Con: the only way to get weapon cards without spending money is via a once-a-day free pack. This means you’ll be too weak to progress and you’ll end up farming the same level for days.
Possible solution: Let the dungeon drop weapon cards.

I haven’t been able to progress further to give feedback on any other features.

Devs, as an alternative; cosmetics are a sure way to make some coin to avoid pay2win mechanics. Hairstyles, outfits, monster SKINS (not monsters) etc.

**Developer response:** Hello! Thanks for the feedback. If you update the game to the latest version, we have made a few changes since your review to help address some of these issues - epic card pack guarantees an epic, and common card packs have no longer has a limit. We hope this also means you'll be able to get nets more easily, and fuse them to help catching.

### 4/5 — Actually pretty fun

*2020-04-20, version 1.0.76*

Once you get a few decent cards and train a monster, it’s entertaining for sure.

### 4/5 — Loving it! BUT..

*2020-04-19, version 1.0.76*

There should be more options to the store. A free pack is nice and all but only 2 other packs for purchase with gold & then an epic pack for gems? There should be some side quests or a random card gacha. Other than that, I absolutely love this game! I just wish there was some more diversity in deck building.

### 4/5 — Fun but lots of waiting

*2020-04-17, version 1.0.76*

The games fun but I’m stuck on the first boss level and I have to wait 24 hours until I can get a new card pack I’ve been grinding to get coins I have the coins but I can get it because I have to wait 24 hours.

### 4/5 — Game with great potential

*2020-04-16, version 1.0.76*

Old school feel with a slow rpg building style. With some of the other options it keeps game play different. Wish there was higher rewards so it was easier to get better/ farther faster but honestly, ost games are grind or pay to win and I enjoy this grind style

### 3/5 — Really cool game with one big flaw.

*2020-04-16, version 1.0.76*

One big flaw that bothers me at least. To preface, Enemy monsters in this game slowly scale up in damage and health as you go along. Obvious, of course, but this is where an issue arises. To become stronger, you need to get cards, of which stronger cards are gotten by rarity. So to get further at a certain point, you need rarer cards. To make matters worse, you can only buy 9 cards prer day, and epic/legendary cards are incredibly rare. This stops progression bc you are always waiting on better cards. Granted, this progression stop doesnt happen for a while, so you can have fun while it lasts, then just open the app every 24 hours to get your 9 daily cards.

**Developer response:** Hi there, thanks for your feedback! If you update your game to the latest version, the common card pack limit per day has been removed, and epic card packs guarantees an Epic now. We hope this helps address the points you've mentioned!

### 1/5 — Game won’t load

*2020-05-06, version 1.0.82*

I just tried loading the game today and it won’t load at all. It just keeps crashing repeatedly. I’ve tried restarting my phone, closing the app repeatedly and even deleting it and redownloading. It just won’t work anymore.

### 1/5 — Blank screen on launch

*2020-04-21, version 1.0.76*

Did you even test your app before posting it??

### 1/5 — Yet another game ruined by greed

*2020-04-16, version 1.0.76*

First thing first. DO NOT SPEND MONEY on this. Sounds and fun game plan; however, the game mechanic is rigged intentionally by the developers to milk ads revenue and micro transactions. One of the many frustrating example: countless of time, where you get monster to 1hp + trapped them and weakened them 4 times. Yet... my lvl 3 net cannot catch them? Ended up dead then forced to watch ads to revive. This is one of the many many frustrating things. I really want to like the game and pay...but this is where greed destroys the game

UPDATE to dev response: I know how to strategize if that’s what you are implying. The point is, the game mechanic is intentionally rigged As the game progress. Many broken mechanics: 1. Potion heal 5 instead of 10 after u beat 2nd boss 2. Pointless trying to capture monsters because they cannot be capture (intentionally)
Hope you update the game to make it good and fun; that’s how u get customers to pay and sticky

**Developer response:** Hi there! We have many players who have finished the game without spending any money (you can join our discord server to meet them and get tactics). Near the start of the game the best thing to focus on is breeding a cheap/easy to catch monster (like the resident eye)...in no time it will be so string that you will use it more than your weapons! and while you win with your monster, eventually your weapons will catch up.

### 2/5 — Fun game but hard to advance without spending a lot of money

*2020-05-05, version 1.0.82*

I go the battle pass and wasn’t even able to beat the first tower before I got all the battle pass and had to buy another one 20$!!!!
There’s like 6 towers I would have to spend at least 150$. To expensive I supported giving them 20 to support the game and the creators but there taking advantage of not being able to advance without spending loads of money.

### 2/5 — Could be great in the future

*2020-04-20, version 1.0.76*

The only big complaint I have other than just lack of variety is that you cant aim your weapons like the net, sword, and trap. You have to waste a turn and some damage to then attack. They need to be all the spaces around you like the spear dagger and axe. I have died only when I had to use a sword but had to waste time turning to then get hit before I could attack.

Update. Hit the fattest pay wall. Avoid this garbage. Not worth it.

**Developer response:** Hi there! It was actually a design choice - the more direction flexibility the weapon has, the less damage it deals. The sword is rigid but it deals the most damage. We get that it might be a bit different from what other tactics games do. Personally, what helps me is to balance your deck probabilities such that you get a variety of choices, and not be stuck with 4 swords in a draw. E.g. perhaps having more spears instead of fusing them all, and then having one strong sword to use when the opportunity presents itself. Hopefully this helps you see the mechanic in a new light! Let us know how it goes! (Also, higher grade traps expands on its range and directionality. Nets and Swords remain the same) Another tip is using weapons to turn you - paying attention to the direction that you end up with after using a weapon. E.g. Bows turn you toward the direction you shoot. By doing this, you get to turn while shooting.

### 2/5 — Needs work

*2020-04-17, version 1.0.76*

This game is pretty good.... for like the first day. While I enjoy the challenge it can present, the stamina system makes the game a lot worse. It runs out almost every dungeon right as I'm about to get through it, and definitely needs reworked. I enjoy the combat system, but the progression of your weapons is extremely slow. You get 3 packs a day, with majority of their contents being common cards, and the epic card pack you can't get more than once unless you spend money on the game. The dungeons get pretty dull after a while, and you really have no goals to work toward which make them even more dull. I'd like to see more stuff added to do other than basically repeating the same task for the entire game, more stamina added (not a lot, just enough so it doesn't run out every game), and more ways to get cards outside of the auction house (which already requires you to have weapons to get more weapons) and the store. Not a bad game by any means, but it just gets so drab and boring and I feel like there's no objective and a good amount of flaws.

### 2/5 — Normally I love all of your games but

*2020-04-16, version 1.0.76*

This games pretty good it’s different but my only problem is it just seems like a super amped up micro transaction game. If you want to get anywhere in this game you have to get past the pay wall. Plus the system for catching monsters is entirely luck based there’s no way to upgrade the secondary roll besides to have luck on your side. This game is a lot more Grindy then tiny dice dungeons. Moneys not as easy to come by and honestly I don’t think I’ll ever get a purple pack of cards because it cost so much

**Developer response:** Hi there! Sorry you feel this way. The game is made to be playable without spending money, and there are people who have reached the end of Tower 2 without spending. But we will try our best to improve the experience of the game. While it is luck for catching, upgrading your net helps with the 1st phase. The 2nd phase is even less luck based than the 1st, as it is based on the monster's HP percentage (meaning you can lower it such that it's almost a 100% chance). Using traps halves this too. And overall, there is a luck value that increases as you attempt catching a monster multiple times, to boost your chances for both phases.

### 2/5 — Needs work

*2020-04-14, version 1.0.75*

I’ve put about 5 hours into this game. It needs more fun to it.

### 2/5 — Please fix this

*2020-04-14, version 1.0.75*

I wish there were more ways to get packs, if there were more packs in the shop (possibly at a cheaper price) or more ways to get packs I’d have more incentive to play. I also think the games too grindy. its annoying for me as as a person who hates pity to have a buff every time I die (which happens a lot)
Capturing monsters is tedious and honestly I die way too often trying it.many of The menu buttons are very small taking 5-6 tries to open them. The combat consists of way too many monsters ramdomly moving, which would be ok if a timer wasn’t ticking every time it runs to the opposite corner of the room.also monsters won’t engage you until you get to instakill territory. The issues with combat wouldn’t be too much of a problem if you could control your pets freely.

Overall I’d only play this game while watching something else

### 2/5 — Decent Framework, No Game

*2020-04-11, version 0.0.74*

Honestly seems more like a prototype at this point. All the main systems are there, but it doesn’t feel like an actual game. There are way too few ways to obtain new cards, and there’s nothing to do other than to grind the same dungeon over and over. The game needs more content and methods of progression. Not to mention the energy timer is way too slow.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Tl;dr: Fun game

*2022-03-22, version 1.0.98*

Good way to pass the time, but sometimes the rng screws me over lol

### 5/5 — Like it so far

*2020-11-22, version 1.0.96*

Really enjoying it. We will see how it holds over time.

### 5/5 — I love it

*2020-06-20, version 1.0.88*

I just, mmmmmm 👌

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2020-06-09, version 1.0.87*

Try it out, and if you like it then buy the no ads and a battle pass or two, this game is awesome if you like strategy and want to try something different. The progression is a bit slow at times but then again every great game has a grinding element to it. PvP is good, adds flavor to the game. Few bugs here and there but every game has its bugs. Overall great game, just wish they’d update faster!

### 5/5 — Good rpg

*2020-06-08, version 1.0.87*

The strategy mechanics are fun and challenging the ads only come when you want them to and the pixel art and animation are pleasing 👍

### 5/5 — This game needs 5 star

*2020-05-01, version 1.0.82*

🤡

### 5/5 — Friend code

*2020-04-17, version 1.0.76*

Fun game.. add me!! Heres my friend code 151296793859 just feels like its a bit slow.. maybe add more encounters with old man to grab a few more cards

### 5/5 — 🔥🔥🔥

*2020-04-17, version 1.0.76*

Perfect old school game. Pokemon meets fire emblem. Doesn’t appear to be a blatant cash grab either like most games, only spent 10 bucks on the no adds pack and I was able to get thru the first tower pretty easily. First time I’ve ever taken the time out of my day to write a review, think that says it all.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much, we really appreciate you going out of your way and giving us a review :)

### 5/5 — Beautiful game

*2020-04-16, version 1.0.76*

I’m not good at writing reviews so I’ll just say this,
I really love pixelated games and wow this one is amazing! I’ve never played a game like this one. I really love the music on here and the gameplay! Just download it and check it out! I have already bought something from them several times to support their good and hard work!!!

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2020-04-15, version 1.0.76*

Love the overall feel of the game. It takes a little to get used to the movement mechanics, but you figure it out. If you grind you can definitely advance pretty quickly.
