## What is Tiny Things?

Your head is not a to-do list. Yet by the end of the day it is carrying a thousand tiny things: the wipes running low, Friday’s form, the message you never answered, the question you keep meaning to ask the doctor.

Tiny Things is a two-minute ritual for setting the day down.

TYPE IT OR SAY IT
Pour out everything in your head—by keyboard or microphone, with no format, order, or tidying required. Tiny listens on your device, and your audio is not saved. If life interrupts you halfway through, your unfinished pour is kept so you can return without starting again.

GIVE EACH THOUGHT A PLACE
Tiny suggests a starting place; you always decide where each thought belongs:

• For me
• Hand over
• Can wait
• Let go

Add an exact date and time when something needs to return. Tiny brings it back once, in your own words, with a quiet local reminder. Share handoffs yourself as an ordinary message; the other person never needs Tiny Things or an account.

CATCH IT BEFORE TONIGHT
Save a thought in seconds from the app, Siri, Shortcuts, the Action Button, Control Center, or a Lock Screen widget. It waits quietly for your next ritual instead of asking you to carry it all day.

WHY IT FEELS DIFFERENT
— No points, streaks, or guilt. This is not a productivity app trying to optimize you. It is a place where you are allowed to put something down.
— Your complete personal archive remains free to read and search.
— Every monthly letter is free and stays in The Moons, ready whenever you want to return to it.
— Morning begins with what matters already held, what can wait already quiet, and a head that was allowed to rest.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No tracking. No content is stored on servers we operate. Your data stays on your devices and, when available, syncs through your private iCloud. Smarter Nights is an optional Plus feature on supported Apple Intelligence devices: it refines the initial sorting on-device and does not build profiles about people.

TINY THINGS PLUS (OPTIONAL)
The complete ritual, typed and spoken capture, reminders, ordinary-text handoffs, searchable archive, weekly review, every monthly letter, notes you add, the Porcelain Day Sky, Midnight Night Sky with its icon, and a seven-night sample Book are free.

Plus adds designed Handoff Cards; printable Books from up to your 1,000 most recent nights; The Year, which binds up to 12 saved monthly letters into a shareable PDF; a named shareable sky with up to 160 visible lights and the complete total; three additional Day Skies; three additional Night Skies with matching icons; and optional Smarter Nights refinement on supported devices.

Plus is one membership, billed monthly or yearly. Eligible people can try the annual plan free for 3 days; the monthly plan has no trial. The App Store confirms eligibility and price before purchase. Only the annual plan supports Apple Family Sharing. Only Plus access is shared—each person’s words, reminders, sky, and private iCloud data remain separate.

You carry so much nobody sees. Tiny Things gives you two quiet minutes to put some of it down.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.6 — 2026-09-21

Tiny Things 3.6 — The Order

Home used to show things in the order you poured them. Now it reads in the order of your week — and the whole app gets easier to read, to hear, and to trust with a slip of the thumb.

• Home now lists what you asked back first, earliest day first — then everything else, in the order you set it down. A day you named comes before a day you didn't
• A hand-over message follows the same order, so what is needed soonest is read first
• A line removed mid-pour can be taken back, and it returns to exactly where it was
• Every thing on Home now offers the same actions however you reach them — including Hand to…, which used to hide behind a long press
• Reduce Transparency is now honoured: solid cards and a flat sky, with the same words on them
• With VoiceOver you can move, hand over, edit or set a Return straight from a thing on Home, skim the longer screens by their headings, and hear each Plus plan as one clear sentence
• The longest animations now go still with Reduce Motion, and the small close buttons are easier to hit
• Making the Book no longer freezes the app — and if a Book can't be made, it says so
• Lighter on a long-kept archive: the sky, the widget and Settings no longer load everything you ever set down
• On iOS 27, the sky goes still when your iPhone asks apps to ease off

Still no account, no analytics. Your words stay on your devices and, when available, sync through your private iCloud — never through servers we operate.

### 3.5 — 2026-08-28

Tiny Things 3.5 — The Dusk

Every other tool for the mental load fills up. This is the release where Tiny Things starts giving things back — always by your hand, never silently.

• Things that can wait now rest out of sight. They stay held, and readable, but they are no longer a list you have to scan on Home
• When one has waited long enough, it comes back to you — one at a time, in the pour, as an ordinary card with the same four places. Doing nothing is a complete night; it simply rests again — at most once a season at first, and no more than once a year in the end
• Nothing is ever held silently forever, and nothing is ever moved or let go without you
• The month's letter may now name what you never had to think about again — the things that were safe here the whole time
• The Witness gains a fourth line: one thing that never came back to you. It reads kinder every month, because the app got better at carrying
• A Return you didn't answer is no longer a reproach. Home now says what is true: you asked for this back
• A hand-over can no longer be mistaken for a save: sending it onward completes it, while saving to Files, Notes or Freeform keeps it yours
• Your first page now travels with you to a new iPhone
• Your export grows (Open Star Format v6): the Witness's fourth line — yours to keep forever

Still no account, no analytics. Your words stay on your devices and, when available, sync through your private iCloud — never through servers we operate.

### 3.0 — 2026-08-06

Tiny Things 3.0 — The Hand

The load finally leaves the head it has been living in. Handing something over becomes the app's second ceremony: your words, in your voice, sent by your hand — and what is sent is truly out of your head.

• The Hand — the hand-over message opens as your own draft: change anything; nothing goes until you send it
• Handed is handed — at send, the thing leaves your lists for good. No status, no read receipts, no "did they do it"
• A small warm light drifts to the horizon as custody moves — and its star keeps a warmer gold: a trace, never a badge
• If a Return was set, it stands down: what left your head cannot come back to weigh on you
• Hands have names — hand over to your partner, to Oma, to the sitter; one tap while you sort, remembered for the evening
• The message greets each person the way you last greeted them — your phrasing, remembered on your device only
• The morning may say, as past relief only: "Two things left your hands yesterday."
• The Witness quietly names the month's hand the way you named them
• Your first page — once your own nights have made one, a page appears that is yours to keep. Free forever, whether or not you ever subscribe
• Your export grows (Open Star Format v5): when a thing left your hands, and to whom — yours to keep forever

The other person installs nothing and is never tracked. Still no account, no analytics. Your words stay on your devices and, when available, sync through your private iCloud — never through servers we operate.

### 2.5 — 2026-07-19

Tiny Things 2.5 — The Witness

Once a month, a private page rests with your letters: “What Tiny carried.” It holds three of your own lines — one kept until it mattered, one handed over, one you chose to release — and lets them become three lights in your sky.

• The Witness (Plus) — a quiet monthly page made only from what you chose; no totals, scores, or advice
• Every page already made stays yours forever, even if Plus ends
• A clearly labelled sample lets you preview the page before your first full month
• Your Plus — a small welcome space to choose your sky, make your first Book, send a designed handoff, and preview The Witness
• The Year now gathers your Witness pages beside your letters
• If you ever delete a thought, its line leaves every page with it

• Ask Siri what you're holding — the One-Breath Answer, spoken without opening the app
• A Focus filter keeps the night whisper — dim, hushed — at any hour your Focus asks
• Optional: missed reminders you scheduled can keep a small count on the icon until you return — off by default, and nothing else is ever counted

The page is composed on your device, from dates and destinations you chose — never by reading meaning into your words. Still no account or tracking. Your words stay on your devices and, when available, sync through your private iCloud — never through servers we operate.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-07-15

Fixes a crash that could close the app when you tapped the microphone to speak. Voice works as it should again.

Nothing else has changed.
