### 4/5 — Nostalgic 2010s Game

*2026-08-07*

love the game but would like to suggest having the VIP which makes dream workers 😩🙏 pls

### 4/5 — Timeless classic

*2026-07-26*

I love the old version of the game but pleaseeeee make the framerate like the new one, it’s a lot smoother scrolling up and down the tower

### 4/5 — Glad to Have the Classic Edition, Missing Mid-Development Features

*2026-06-28*

I’m so happy to be able to play this version just like the old days, and it’s definitely worth the money. However I’m begging the developers to bring some small key features that the game had in between this version and the current full game! I miss being able to shoot fireworks and have my own doorman that I can customize and dress up! I don’t like the overwhelming pop-ups, lack of challenge, and use of ads in the modern version of the game. But those little details in the mid-stage development between the two really gave the game its charm.

### 4/5 — Klasse Idee

*2026-06-18*

### 3/5 — Time Delay Mechanism Frustrating

*2026-04-13, version 2.4.2*

It still has the time delay mechanism, I wish there was a way around this considering they are charging $10

### 3/5 — Almost perfect

*2026-02-13*

Just two minor bugs, one is the sound audio. Whenever I open the app after some time, it’ll blast the ring very loudly despite turning down the volume overall to not hear the sounds from within the app too loudly in public. Second is when I use a VIP npc at some point, it’ll show the VIP button on the bottom left as if a new VIP npc has arrived. However, after I sent the VIP I clicked initially to the floor I chose, the button remains, and there’s no new VIP, nor does the button go away. Bit inconvenient. Also would be nice to not be ignored & add a way to add friends & send each other the tiny npcs to each other.

### 3/5 — no custom lobby

*2026-02-09, version 2.4.1*

im kind of sad there’s no custom lobby/roof

### 4/5 — .

*2026-02-07*

Tiny Tower Classic is the best mobile game of all time, but is currently overpriced. Please never change this game :)

### 3/5 — no chinese？

*2026-01-30, version 2.4.1*

没有中文！！

### 4/5 — Nostalgic but boring

*2025-11-18*

I paid for this app again because I used to have it many years ago. I love it but I’ve fully upgraded my elevator and now it’s just boring. Can yall do some updates or add more things

### 3/5 — Nostalgia

*2025-11-05*

I paid for this app again because I used to have it many years ago. But I don’t like how I can’t sell my tower only reset and loose everything.

### 4/5 — Nostalgic Fun, But Needs a Refresh Rate Update

*2025-08-30*

Tiny Tower Classic offers lots of nostalgic fun.

My only issue is the low refresh rate, which is rather noticeable. While it’s not game-breaking, a patch to match newer devices' refresh rates would be appreciated.

### 5/5 — Back to basics and I love it

*2025-07-29*

As someone who grew up playing this game, I’m so happy to have it back (even if it was maybe a little pricey) with no ads or IAPs. Loving playing this again!

### 4/5 — Tiny Tower is Back

*2025-07-27*

This is Tiny Tower how it was before all the freemium and gambling and distractions were added. That said, I wish they’d add the lobby customization, elevator upgrade separate from appearance, and golden ticket mechanics to level floors and bitizens.

### 4/5 — Love the game but…

*2025-07-14, version 2.4.0*

It’s fun and all but figuring out how to friend someone is a tad different and I’m hoping that gets updated soon so I can add my girlfriend!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — A shameless cash grab

*2026-01-15, version 2.4.1*

$10 is absurd for a game that does nothing more than prey upon the nostalgia of its most dedicated fans.

### 1/5 — Not Worth It

*2025-11-02, version 2.4.0*

I wanted to try it and deleted it within a few minutes of starting it. Apple wouldn’t give me a refund. I would recommend you stay away from it.

### 1/5 — Already abandoned - no updates since release

*2025-10-05*

It’s great to have a classic option given how cluttered and ad filled the original version has become over time.

That said, as many other reviews have brought up, there’s been a lack of quality of life features that makes this version tedious, such as not being able to restock all floors in one go or the daily fireworks event.

There’s also bugs such as the game’s audio pausing any other audio that’s playing, like the Music app’s, and the VIP icon being displayed even after sending them to a particular floor. Here’s hoping this version doesn’t become abandoned by the developers.

### 1/5 — Graphics are horrible, gameplay is slow.

*2025-09-07*

The free version is worth putting up with all the ads because it’s so slow. The graphics are horrible, everything takes a minute to load up. Waste of money, DO NOT BUY.

### 1/5 — Don’t buy

*2025-04-06, version 2.4.0*

Do not buy because the game is slow, boring, and paid to much for to little. Give me my money back!

### 1/5 — LOVE… but…

*2025-03-24*

I’m so happy this has been released as I loved the original and am not a huge fan of all the new menus and add-odds in the free version. Two issues off the bat that will need fixing, the game appears stuttery/laggy on newer devices. Secondly, there seems to be a character limit on the cloud activation that doesn’t let me enter my full email address.

### 1/5 — Frauds

*2025-03-20, version 2.4.0*

$10 for this app and $0 for the other version that is better, faster, and started you off with more funds for your tower. Do not waste your money on this! If I could rate zero stars, I would.

### 2/5 — friend code

*2026-01-24, version 2.4.1*

can i even have friends? where can i find the friend code i dont get it….

### 2/5 — Not worth the nostalgia

*2025-07-04*

Like many others, I have very fond memories playing this game when I was younger. Most of the new versions didn’t seem to hold the same amount of charm, with half the screen being cluttered with notifications and events. Once I noticed there was a classic version, I was very interested. $10 seems pretty steep for a older port of a game that came out years ago, but I figured it was worth it purely on the nostalgia… I don’t think it is. The game itself has numerous graphical issues that have yet to be solved on the newer phones, yet the more recent games have the issues corrected. Characters look like they are having a stroke when they cross the screen, which is often very distracting. I’ve been playing this game for a while, and it seems unreasonably difficult to earn bux in order to buy floor upgrades. A lot of quality of life features seem to be missing, although this can purely be due to those features being ‘newer’. All in all I hope Nimblebit dedicates more time to this app since it has the potential to be great, however at the state it is in is not worth the price.

### 2/5 — Lack of updates

*2025-06-25*

It’s great to have a classic option given how cluttered and ad filled the original version has become over time.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Superb

*2026-08-01*

The best mobile game in history. Big fan.

### 5/5 — Tiny tower as it was!

*2026-01-19*

This was exactly what I wanted, a classic tiny tower experience without any ad offers, pop ups, or fancy features. Other people who review this don’t seem to understand that THIS is what tiny tower was back when it was first released. There were no QOL features like the stock all button or bux being given out like candy. In this versio stocking each floor individually, bux are hard to get, the vips are valuable, and the progression is a grind! It’s beautiful and reminds me of my childhood!

### 5/5 — Tausendmal besser als das neue TinyTower!

*2025-12-30*

Ohne Werbung, ohne nervige Angebote oder „pay to win“-Prinzip! Einfach das uralte Prinzip, als Handygames noch richtig Spaß gemacht haben!

### 5/5 — Unable to Add Friends

*2025-12-12*

No way to see friend codes.

### 5/5 — Incredible

*2025-12-08*

So glad to see this true classic available with no IAP! It costs developers actual money to have their games hosted on app stores so this one-time charge is well worth the months and years of play I have ahead of me on a brand new tower..! Nimble Bit’s games have always been worth it while also kept in the best shape possible by their team.

### 5/5 — Needs more QOL features

*2025-11-25*

I know it’s supposed to be the classic version but i think a lot of the qol and smaller features from the main TT game should be added back such as a stock button and bitizens taking a minute off stocking/build timers. I also think the lack of golden tickets removes a lot of the replayability and sense of progression the main game has but it kind of defeats the point of a “classic” version if you add all this stuff so idk. My last critique is that the game doesn’t feel as smooth as the main game, it feels somewhat sluggish or has lower frames than normal TT which isn’t a big deal but for 10 bucks it should be running as smoothly as normal TT.

### 5/5 — Nostalgia

*2025-11-14*

I paid for this app again because I used to have it many years ago. More updates please!!! The current features are getting old

### 5/5 — Lost Progress

*2025-11-02*

I never got any of my stats back from my previous game years and years ago. But it’s still fun to play! Would’ve been nice to see my old tower though!

### 5/5 — Thank you!!

*2025-10-04*

Not sure if it’s a whole 5 stars yet because I just downloaded it 5 minutes ago. BUT I’ve been waiting for this!!! I’m a TT fan but in the evolution version I’m a multi billionaire and so tired of ads. I said several years ago that I would be willing to buy the game outright instead of being rudely interrupted with ads. But that being said, I do understand that you guys needed to make money and the ads were one way to do so. Anyway with the new classic version I’m going to need to gear down and lay off the purchase button

### 5/5 — Just like the original release

*2025-09-20*

I loved this game back when it came out. I was happy to learn that a classic version was out there! It is just as fun as i remember. My only request is that they add the ability to send bitizens to friends for more of a group experience.
