I searched and searched for a substitute. Apple tried to say theirs was just as good but I don’t agree, especially on my iPad. One of my biggest pet peeves during my search was the flashing advertising…so aggravating!!! When someone recommended Tiny Weather, I was so grateful! That is why I am leaving a detailed review. Hopefully it will help someone end their search. I still prefer Dark Sky for several reasons but Tiny Weather is so simple, my opinion is slowly changing. Now the times given for sunrise & sunset are an hour off, which a deal breaker for me. ### 4/5 — Finally! *2026-05-09* I’m not sure how other weather apps don’t make people absolutely mental. They’ve become this dumping ground for ridiculous adds so encourage people to buy advert-free versions, and have so much data in not pleasant to read formats. This is simple, and direct. You don’t have to scroll a bunch to get to the “bread aisle” of the weather info you’re looking for. Thank you for the app (the only reason it’s not 5 stars is because I just downloaded it and haven’t spent enough time to see if there are any issues I’ve not seen yet). **Developer response:** Thank you for the review!
