I don't like that, please change it ### 4/5 — Love it, but... *2015-02-04, version 1.2.4* I use the widget very often, it's faster than launching the default calculator app. Just a petition: please add a setting where we can disable the automatic operation when you touch twice the operation signs. I mean, many of us would like that nothing will happen if you touch twice the + sign, for example. Thanks! ### 5/5 — Excellent!! *2015-01-16, version 1.2.4* Great for most purposes. Love the widget function! ### 4/5 — Very very good *2015-01-16, version 1.2.4* tinyCalc is fast. I'd leave it at that but I don't this the AppStore allows such a short review. The reason I was going to leave it at fast is that almost every calculator I've ever tried for my iPhone or iPad has been slow as molasses going backwards uphill in winter. I would normally blame load time of ad banners but I've been plagued with it in both free and paid calculators. Fast, updates frequently - which so far has only brought improvements. The notification calculator is damn nifty too! ### 5/5 — Excellent and clean! *2015-01-14, version 1.2.3* That's all. ### 5/5 — Awesome! *2015-01-09, version 1.2.3* Frequent updates are never a problem! They listen to the users for suggestions also! ### 5/5 — Fantastic! *2015-01-08, version 1.2.3* Love the Notification Center widget! ### 5/5 — Good app *2015-01-08, version 1.2.3* Really like the notification widget ### 5/5 — Love this! *2015-01-08, version 1.2.3* I love being able to use the calculator right from the Notification Center. Works like a charm! ### 4/5 — great! *2015-01-08, version 1.2.3* wonderful widget! might I suggest a different approach to landscape? just a thought thanks for this! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Where’s the widget? *2024-11-12, version 3.1.1* I loved the widget on my old iPad but it’s gone in iPadOS 18. ### 1/5 — Little big bug *2017-12-12, version 3.0.1* Wäre eigentlich eine 5Sterne App, aber in der letzten Version lassen sich keine Werte mit 0,x eingeben. Es wird aus z. B. 0,4 eine 4. Bitte ändern ### 1/5 — Watch Doesn't Work *2016-04-07, version 2.0* Wish I could uninstall in 15 minutes and get a refund like on Google Play because the watch version stinks. Only the number 6 responds to my press. Save your .99c ### 1/5 — Some numbers no work while pressing *2016-01-01, version 2.0* Didn't work on mine, pressing a lot of times but some numbers on my watch not responding ### 1/5 — Two words...... *2015-01-03, version 1.2.2* LANDSCAPE MODE!!! You may not have to rotate your little iPhone, but you sure do have to rotate your Big iPad! Plus there is the backspace button.....you know, the one that's NOT THERE!!! I "calculate" that it would have been more enjoyable to make a video of lighting that dollar bill on fire and watching it burn completely up instead of wasting it on this app. ### 1/5 — No backspace button *2014-12-26, version 1.2.2* Calculator with out backspace is always incomplete. ### 2/5 — Missing features. *2018-05-03, version 3.0.1* No backspace and history. ### 2/5 — Working now but not great *2017-12-06, version 3.0.1* It's usable now but would really prefer the option to switch back to the old widget version. This is just too big and unwieldy. ### 2/5 — Widget is disappointing *2017-12-03, version 3.0* It was perfect before the last update. Now it's too big, due to iOS 11, but still harder to use. Part of that is the new skinny font that's harder to read. Screw Jony Ive, make the widget useful instead of faddish. ### 2/5 — Compact, functional design... *2014-12-26, version 1.2.2* ...but lack of backspace key is a serious flaw. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Working now! *2017-12-03, version 3.0* Had a bit of a scare when the widget just kept saying "Unable to load," but it finally got going. 👍🏽 This is one of those widgets that becomes indispensable before you know it. ### 5/5 — Beautiful *2015-11-03, version 2.0* Best calculator widget. Only downside is it's broken on widget panel in iPad in landscape mode. ### 5/5 — Great Simple Calculator *2015-08-17, version 2.0* I really like this for use in Notification Center. It's a great, clean and simple calculator! ### 5/5 — Great app!! *2015-07-16, version 2.0* Great little app, better functions than Apple's calculator! Plus it works on the watch!! ### 5/5 — Awesome app *2015-04-12, version 1.2.4* It's perfect ### 5/5 — Great widget, poor app. Geometry? *2015-02-09, version 1.2.4* Now that Apple allows widgets (finally) this calculator on demand is simply wonderful. No more unlock > search > open. It's a basic arithmetic calculator. On the other hand, the app has all the sine, cosine, square root, etc. functions which would be great in high school but in the app they take up 60% of the screen and you can't hide or turn them off. (so just use a different calculator app). But the widget is great. Great! ### 5/5 — Incredibly handy *2015-01-24, version 1.2.4* Very useful and convenient! Surprised at how often I use it. ### 5/5 — Handy Calculator *2015-01-18* Thanks to the NC widget it's always a swipe away. ### 5/5 — Thanks for the update *2015-01-16, version 1.2.4* Best calc for quick use. Easy to use widget makes calculations easy without opening the app. Other widgets seem cumbersome but this is easy and straightforward. Try it out and you use it daily. ### 5/5 — Tiny calculator *2015-01-16, version 1.2.4* I have an iPhone 6 plus and I love have the calculator on the lower half of the screen which makes it easy to use with one hand. --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
