### 3/5 — Unknown subscription

*2026-08-24, version 1.268.0*

Honestly was so excited to use this app until after I shared links with family/friends it tells me there’s a subscription. I should have known better.

### 4/5 — Solid app

*2026-07-24, version 1.242.0*

I love the app, we got tiny nest to protect our little ones from being seen by the outside world, we don’t want our babies shared or posted online and we really liked that there is a no screen shot feature, we do not like that you have to wait for a member to accept your invite before you have to manually go through each members profile and set the no screen shot function and their ability to share or post your babies photos. By the time you realize that your 20 family Members have accepted the invite, everyone has already screen shotted and sent your babies photos all over the place. You should be able to turn that setting off before you send the invite. We have a new baby and it’s a lot of work, it can be hard to manage a baby and each member of your families profile at the same time. We got this app for protection, for our little ones. I feel like that one little feature is more complicated than it needs to be, it’s nice that you can see who screen shotted your photos and can revoke their ability to screen shot further but you should not have to watch your notifications and hop on your app as soon as they log on to remove their ability to screen shot and or share/send your photos. For as expensive as this app is, they should make a few changes. Everyone who is not an admin should automatically not have the ability to share, screen record or screen shot photos from your collection. It can get out of hand fast. But overall it’s a really cool app. I love that the fam can like and comment on your photos. They can also upload photos they have taken. It’s a really cool app for the most part!

### 4/5 — Good app

*2026-07-23, version 1.242.0*

I like this app more than the others I’ve tried so far. Some changes I really wish they had: I don’t like that you have to toggle on the “HD” button every time you want to see a photo not blurry/in high quality, I wish there was a setting to just keep it enabled. Secondly I wish you could filter your photos when you go to upload new ones, like by favorites or specific albums, instead of just recents. Going to add some family so we’ll see what they think!

### 4/5 — It’s great!

*2026-06-03, version 1.207.0*

The only thing I wish it did was clear all of the notifications at once instead of opening every single one to clear that notification.

### 2/5 — Irritating and useless notifications

*2026-05-01, version 1.200.2*

Downloaded the app bc of my brother and SIL. The sheer number of nonsense notifications I get is ridiculous. Someone liked someone else's picture! Look back on the baby! Look at the memories! The baby isn't even born yet and no one has posted pictures for 2 weeks, why am I still getting daily notifications???? All I want to know is when there are new pics :(

### 5/5 — Best app for photo sharing

*2026-05-01, version 1.200.2*

Since my baby was born I have been looking for ways to share photos and updates that is not on social media. I came across this app a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. It’s easy for our family members to use. The calendar is a nice feature so you can look back and see your babies growth over time. The function to block people from screenshotting or downloading photos is a plus. An added plus is the customer service. If you send feedback they are quick to respond if you have any questions or suggestions. I cannot recommend this app enough! Download ASAP, you won’t be disappointed!

### 5/5 — Great app for new parents

*2026-04-10, version 1.171.0*

I love being able to share all my little ones memories and have my family be involved in seeing my baby grow up! Thanks for this amazing app!

### 5/5 — Best family album app!

*2026-02-17, version 1.122.0*

I have been using the app for a very long time and all my family love it. Best things ever since my baby was born and recommend everyone for using it to share baby photos or as a family album!

### 5/5 — Such a great app

*2026-02-17, version 1.122.0*

Love the app. Been using it for a while and definitely recommend it for everyone

### 5/5 — The whole family love it!

*2025-11-06, version 1.37.1*

So much better than other apps

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Pop ups demand a rating - cannot bypass

*2026-08-18, version 1.262.0*

Pop ups interrupt viewing of photos, cannot be skipped until a rating is given. Rating is then not applied on App Store.

### 1/5 — Sus

*2026-08-03, version 1.250.1*

App only lets you select full access to photo album. I have a separate album on my phone for these photos but app doesn’t like selected photos only. Very sus.

### 1/5 — No point

*2026-07-31, version 1.248.0*

You can’t access the app at all without purchasing the subscription. Makes you make an account to not even be able to see if the app is worth the money without automatically going into a subscription (yes it have 7 days free) but we all know how that works. You forget to cancel and get charged. Not worth the time if you can’t even see if it’s what you want to begin with

### 1/5 — Not free

*2026-07-28, version 1.242.0*

I read through all description and at no point does it say you need a subscription to use the app. Got all the way through setup before the Free trial popped up and that’s when I learned that I have to pay to use it. Won’t recommend to others.

### 1/5 — Sucked into yearly

*2026-07-14, version 1.233.0*

Started a trial and ended up not liking the product. Was not notified about the subscription start and asked for a refund. Have heard nothing back from Apple or the developer when asking for a refund.

### 1/5 — Not Free

*2026-07-06, version 1.225.1*

Once you get signed up, it’s not free like they market it to be. There’s a limit to how many photos you can post before having to pay. The FamilyAlbum app is way better since it’s free.

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2026-05-19, version 1.202.0*

They market this like there is a free option with unlimited uploads, but once you get to 200 uploads they will paywall you and no longer allow you to upload more than three photos at a time or any videos without upgrading to a subscription. I’m a busy mom and super mad about how much time I wasted transferring photos from family album jist to find this out. Was going to switch for the no screenshot feature but it’s not worth it if I can’t even upload videos.

### 1/5 — False Advertising

*2026-03-12, version 1.130.0*

TinyNest advertises that you can restrict sharing and the ability for members to screenshot your images. In practice, it’s not how that app actually functions. We tested it with our family and they were able to screenshot and share images even when we restricted their account. The ability to block sharing and screenshots is a major selling point and the fact it does not work is quite disappointing.

### 2/5 — Good until I couldn’t use it anymore

*2026-08-06, version 1.251.0*

When my little one was born, I stumbled upon this app and really enjoyed its functionalities. We have a large family that is in love with receiving these photos and updates. However, recently, after months of using this, there is now a restriction of uploading any videos unless you have the Pro subscription… I wish I knew this before committing months of memories of photos and videos to one place as the subscription price is rather steep for just needing video. Outside of that, it was good while it lasted but will need to find another app unfortunately.

### 2/5 — Laggy app and forces you to pay

*2026-05-17*

The premise of the app is great but I am finding it quite laggy (I couldn’t see my feed without adding family members, however I’m still pregnant) and I don’t like that I can’t X out of the suggestion to use the paying version. I had to delete the app and redownload it.

However I do like the cybersecurity aspect of the app. If the app is still too laggy, I recommend to move to familyalbum.

**Developer response:** hi BlueFlower92, thanks for the review. I’m the CEO of TinyNest and I’m wondering could you please email the support@tinynestai.com for the laggy experience that you had? I will definitely look into it and make sure your experience gets better.

Regarding the paid version, you can try the app without paying and if it doesn’t fit your need or if you think the app is not worth it, you’re free to use the free version. However, the app has no ads and we have an engineering team to feed. As you mentioned the cybersecurity aspect is delightful, and that’s because the team put a lot of effort into it and we want to make sure you feel safe when posting your baby’s photos. That being said we think it’s fair to charge for the premium features (unlimited upload, unlimited backup, full quality upload etc) without any ads interrupting you or your family while they are enjoying the cute smiles of the baby.

I’d love to see if you could change your mind and give us another chance. Please feel free to email the support email, and I’ll make sure issues get resolved for you and your family

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-08-24, version 1.268.0*

TinyNest is a very cool way to share pictures and comments while still maintaining family privacy. 👍🏽👍🏽

### 5/5 — Phenomenal

*2026-08-22, version 1.268.0*

Truly as a first time mom, this is a game changer!!! A little pricey but I like how there's one subscription where you can add endless family members! Only thing missing is the option to create albums that are organized per month for you in year books.

Never want to loose these moments deff making a photo album separate
until a memory book is an option

### 5/5 — Best Family Photo Sharing App

*2026-08-05, version 1.251.0*

I’ve had such a wonderful experience with TinyNest. The app has made it so easy to share photos and videos of my baby with family and close friends in a private, organized space. Instead of sending pictures individually, everyone can stay updated and enjoy watching my little one grow, and I love knowing our memories are all in one place. This was especially helpful with sharing the news of our newborn son and his daily silly faces he makes. It’s such a gift to share his special moments on a secure app to everyone with a click of a button!

### 5/5 — TinyNest

*2026-06-30, version 1.225.1*

Five star App !!!

### 5/5 — Auntie Triny

*2026-06-12, version 1.207.0*

We news but we trust in the parents

### 5/5 — Friendly user app/connivence

*2026-05-31, version 1.207.0*

This app is worth the subscription for big and busy families. Instead of having to send photos to 20 different family members, we can add the photos to the app and allow family members to control which photos they want to download. It also keeps up with milestones and lists all photos/events by date. It’s very organized. It has made our parenthood a lot easier as fresh parents. Our bundle of joy is the first and only baby on both sides of the family; therefore, everyone wants an update consistently. We have greatly enjoyed this app. Thank you!

### 5/5 — LOVE THIS APP

*2026-05-23, version 1.202.0*

We use TinyNest daily to share new updates with grandparents who live in other countries. It’s easy to use, and we paid only one time for the whole family. It lets us easily manage permissions and everything just works. Lastly the developer is super responsive when we have questions and issues. We felt heard.

### 5/5 — Best family album app out there!

*2026-05-20, version 1.202.0*

TinyNest is such a great app. It serves as our family album app now. Granted it’s not free and you have to pay for the unlimited storage feature. However, i think it’s 100% fair that the payment is for the whole family, and it’s much cheaper than alternatives like iCloud, TinyBeans and FamilyAlbum etc. we tried them all and TinyNest is hands down the best with the best security features. For example, you can control each family member if they can upload, screenshot photos etc. love the app!

### 5/5 — Lovely app

*2026-05-18, version 1.202.0*

Our families have loved this app & we love that it keeps our baby somewhat private. When I reached out with a question, the co-founder messaged me back within an hour & within a week, they pushed out an update! I can tell how much they care ♥️

### 5/5 — Great product

*2026-05-04, version 1.200.2*

It’s such a convenient family album app! We use it to share baby photos with grandparents who live in UK. The app is super easy to set up and you can configure all the privacy settings like screenshot control etc. highly recommend for new parents!
