TinyPitch is a pitch pipe app that lets you play notes directly on your Apple Watch. You can adjust the volume loud enough so the whole choir can hear, or quiet enough that only you can hear it when you hold the watch up to your ear.

TinyPitch lets you play all the notes of the 12-tone chromatic scale. To play a note, tap it to start, and then tap again to stop -- or just let it finish on its own after a few seconds.

To switch between instruments (piano, clarinet, and tone), just force touch the Apple Watch screen. To adjust the volume -- while playing, or even in between notes -- spin the Digital Crown. To jump up one octave, swipe right; to jump down, swipe left. Enjoy!

### 5/5 — By far the best pitch pipe for the Apple Watch

*2021-05-11, version 1.6*

There are tons of pitch pipes available for the iPhone, but precious few for the watch. And almost all of them are horrible, with poor interfaces, difficulty controlling the volume, and general unreliability.

TinyPitch solves all of those problems. It is extremely intuitive to use, and it has fun and helpful features like being able to change the instrument and also change the octave with a swipe! Highly recommended!!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-05-31*

Awesome app. Any chance incorporating a tuner into it and more instruments?

What is your email address? I do not have Twitter or Facebook and would like to ask you a couple of questions. Thanks.

**Developer response:** Thanks!! More instruments are on the list for version 2. I’ll look into a tuner!

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2020-05-27*

Where has this app been all my life? Exactly what I’ve wanted. Simple to use, convenient. Love the ability to shift octaves. My only objection is that I have to turn the volume down almost to zero, or else it hurts my ears. I’d like to turn it down a little further but that seems to be the limit.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review!

The minimum volume is actually programmed to be extremely low, to the point it is only audible if you hold it up to your ear. If it sounds louder on your watch, your ports might be obstructed. (When the microphone part gets dust in it, for some reason that affects the minimum volume of the watch.) Try blowing it out with compressed air, or taking it to an Apple store. I promise the volume will get lower!

### 5/5 — Perfect little app

*2020-03-20*

Exactly what I was looking for. You can play any note, control the volume and even choose among three timbres.

### 5/5 — This developer cares...

*2020-03-06*

As a freelance vocalist, it’s clear that this developer understands the needs and unique use cases of professional singers. Every design choice and new feature (such as the ability to quickly and reliably swipe left or right to change octaves) caters to the needs of actual working musicians.

If you are looking for a pitch app for your Apple Watch, look no further. TinyPitch easily blows away the competition.

### 5/5 — Amazing work!

*2020-01-05*

I love this app! It works so well on my watch, and is so helpful when I need a pitch reference.

### 1/5 — App won’t run on my Apple Watch

*2019-11-07*

I paid for this app and it won’t run on my watch. What a scan!!

**Developer response:** If the app doesn’t run, please try restarting your watch and your phone. I promise it will load up! Sometimes it takes a while because there are a lot of sound files. If the app doesn’t work for you, please request a refund :-)

If you do get the app to work, could you please adjust your review? I am an independent developer and these one star reviews really hurt.

### 4/5 — Almost awesome!

*2019-08-16, version 1.4*

Matthew time for an update please. 1- Would love to see 4 more notes after the Gsharp the last note on watch screen. Please add A Bflat B and C 2- Nice big sound from watch but temperamental. Sometimes doesn't stop, or volume increases by itself. Otherwise awesome app. Thank you.

### 4/5 — Very good - just needs a minor tweak

*2019-07-28, version 1.4*

This is a no frills pitch pipe. It works well. The only thing that would make it perfect for me is if you were able to fix the instrument type. I prefer the clarinet tone, but it doesn’t remember it between uses - I have to set it each time because it defaults back to the (harsher) digital.

### 4/5 — Does what it says on the tin

*2019-07-25, version 1.4*

Very good!

(Message to developer: Would be nice if it included complications for the Infograph face on Series 4 Apple Watch for easy access)

Enjoy, and keep on sending in your feature requests! :-)
