## What is TinySteps?

TinySteps is the easy, beautifully designed baby tracker for modern parents; the first with a private, on-device AI assistant, and now built for the whole care team.
Log feeds, diapers, sleep, and milestones in seconds, or just type what happened in plain language and TinySteps sorts out the rest. Invite a co-parent or caregiver so everyone stays on the same page. And when you want to know how the day went, just ask.

FAMILY SHARING (NEW)
Invite a co-parent, grandparent, or caregiver with a simple code or link. Everyone sees the same data in real time, and every entry shows who logged it. Invited? Tap the link and you're set up in seconds; no account needed, free to join.

ASK TINYSTEPS: YOUR PRIVATE AI ASSISTANT
Powered by Apple's on-device Foundation Models, Ask TinySteps answers questions about your baby's activity, health, and milestones in plain English. 100% private, 100% on-device. No accounts, no servers, no data harvesting.

TALK TO LOG
Type it the way you'd say it: "4oz bottle at 2pm," "wet diaper," "30 min nap an hour ago." TinySteps logs the right activity at the right time.

TRACK EVERYTHING
Feeding (breast, bottle, and solids), sleep with Live Activity timers, diapers, growth, milestones with photos, medications with smart reminders, vaccinations, and doctor visits, all in one place.

INSIGHTS & TRENDS
A clean trends view turns your logs into patterns you can actually read: sleep, feeding, diapers, growth, and more. Then export a pediatrician-ready PDF summary for your next checkup.

Thanks for using TinySteps! Questions or ideas? We'd love to hear from you.

New — Family Sharing (TinySteps+)
• Invite a co-parent or caregiver to your baby's care team with a 6-digit code or shareable link.
• Everyone on the team sees the same data and can contribute in real time via iCloud.
• Entries are labelled with who logged them, and you set your own display name once.
• Manage access anytime: change a member between Co-Parent (edit) and View Only, remove members, or stop sharing.
• Your private data stays private — sharing is per family, and you're always in control.

New — Onboarding for invited caregivers
• Tap an invite link on a fresh install and TinySteps takes you through a short join flow instead of asking you to create a baby profile.
• Greets you with the family name, accepts the invite, asks what to call you, and drops you on the shared baby's Dashboard.
• New "Joining a family? Enter invite code" option on the welcome screen for manual setup.
• Clear recovery if a code is expired or invalid — try another code or set up on your own.

New — "Invite a caregiver" prompt
• A gentle, one-time Dashboard suggestion to invite a co-parent once you're actively tracking. Dismiss it and it stays gone.

Improved — Insights
• Redesigned Insights home with a trend hero and cleaner metric cards (sleep, feeding, diapers, growth, and more).
• New Feeding detail with Milk & Bottle and Solids sections, age-appropriate guidance, and short-term forecasts.
• Export for Provider produces a tidy PDF/image summary for activity and solid-food insights.

Fixes & polish
• Fixed Export for Provider not opening from Insights and from the Solids feeding view.
• Simplified the Insights header to a single, clear Export button.
• Add-milestone and Milestone Library screens now use the standard swipe-down dismiss with a grabber instead of a close button.
• Resolved a Premium-related issue and made in-app sheets more reliable.
• Various accuracy and stability improvements.

### 1.1.001 — 2026-07-08

Quick update:
• Fixed the Daily Overview card getting stuck on its loading placeholder
• Daily Overview now reliably updates when you switch between children
• Reliability improvements to how your daily summary loads and refreshes

Thanks for using TinySteps!

### 1.1 — 2026-07-07

TinySteps 1.1 — a major Insights upgrade, a refreshed home screen, solid-food tracking, smarter reminders, and a wide round of accuracy and reliability fixes.

New
• Insights, expanded: weekly summaries, trends & forecasts, period comparisons, an activity heatmap, growth detail, and a shareable report export.
• Solid foods: track first foods and see solid-feeding insights.
• Redesigned home dashboard with a cleaner hero, summary tiles, and today's activities at a glance.
• Talk-to-log: type what happened in plain language ("4oz at 2pm", "30 min nap an hour ago") and it logs at the right time.
• Smarter reminders: filter by all, incomplete, or completed; reminders no longer require a category; and recurring reminders now clearly warn before removing the whole series.
• iCloud Sync health check and a data-usage report in Settings.
• A little celebration when you finish setting up.

Fixes & reliability
• Measurements now show in the correct units everywhere — feeding/pumping amounts, growth records, and the AI assistant no longer mix up oz/ml or kg/lbs/cm/in.
• Editing a saved feeding converts units correctly, and checkups now let you edit head circumference and temperature.
• The AI assistant reports amounts and daily/weekly averages accurately.
• Logging a scheduled medication/supplement no longer duplicates the entry on your timeline.
• Medication schedules with an end date now include that final day.
• Repeating reminders show correctly on the home screen, and monthly reminders set for the 29th–31st fire in shorter months.
• More reliable saving — a rare failed save no longer leaves an entry that disappears later.
• Subscription handling and the paywall behave correctly when you're already subscribed.
• Smoother scrolling on the activity timeline, plus performance and battery improvements across the home screen and active timers.
