There are even bonus panels for paid supporters! But the app itself is not ideal. It’s structured more like a blog feed, with only the titles of new comics but you have to tap the title to be able to read the actual comic. And then when you go back, there’s no guarantee that you’ll land in the same place in the feed, so sometimes you have to scroll down manually to find the place that you left off. And the “follow “button doesn’t seem to impact the feet at all. You still see everything. A more social-media-like feed of the actual comic strip content, with an option to filter it to the authors you follow seems like it would have been such a better choice? Second, the three or more individual panels of each strip are presented as separate little images that you scroll through vertically, which is a great reading experience on the phone, But if you want to download the comic, it downloads them as separate little images that you have to stitch back together yourself, and worse, they’re missing the comic strip title and author/artist names. Why would I want to share only one panel with a friend, and not the whole strip? It really needs a “download whole comic” function. As I said, this is still a great thing.
