## What is TinyWatch?

Use your iPhone as a private baby monitor—without packing or buying a separate monitor. Watch and listen on a second screen connected to the same Wi-Fi.

Leave the iPhone running TinyWatch in the room as the Camera Phone. Watch in the TinyWatch app on an iPhone, iPad, or compatible Apple silicon Mac. You can also open the private link in a compatible browser on a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.

HOW IT WORKS
- Open TinyWatch on the iPhone you will leave in the room and choose Camera Mode.
- Scan the private QR code or open the pairing link on your second screen.
- Watch and listen over the same Wi-Fi.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- No TinyWatch account or sign-in.
- No sending video to the cloud and no cloud video recording.
- Live video and audio stay between your devices on the same Wi-Fi.
- Connect the monitor with a private QR code or link.

ALERTS WITH CLEAR STATUS
Turn on motion and sound alerts from the monitor. TinyWatch can also warn you if the connection drops or the Camera Phone battery runs low.

Browser motion and sound alerts work only while the TinyWatch monitor page is open and visible. They are not active when the browser is minimized or picture-in-picture is on. Alerts are a convenience feature and depend on permissions, device settings, and the Wi-Fi connection.

FOR EVERYDAY, NEARBY CHECK-INS
Use TinyWatch during naps, playtime, evenings, family visits, or trips. Both devices must stay connected to the same Wi-Fi.

SUBSCRIPTION
Monitor Mode is free. Camera Phone Mode requires an annual subscription. The first month is free for new subscribers. After that, the subscription renews annually at the price shown by Apple unless canceled. You can manage the subscription in your Apple Account settings and restore it in the app.

PERMISSIONS WITHOUT SURPRISES
TinyWatch explains why it needs each permission before asking. Camera and microphone access are used for live video and audio. Local Network and While Using the App location permissions help your devices find each other and confirm they are on the same Wi-Fi. Notifications are optional and used for alerts.

SAFETY
TinyWatch is designed for nearby check-ins. It does not replace direct adult supervision and is not a medical device, emergency service, or security system. Place the iPhone securely and keep the phone, charger, cable, and mount out of a child's reach.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-11

TinyWatch now includes a clear five-step guide showing which iPhone becomes the camera, where to watch, how privacy and permissions work, which alerts are available, and how to position the Camera Phone safely.

This update also improves camera and monitor status screens and clarifies app and browser monitoring on the same Wi-Fi.
