## What is Tip Arbiter?

Tip Arbiter is a private, evidence-based tip calculator for people who want transparent math instead of a mystery percentage.

BUILD A SERVICE VERDICT
Choose table service, delivery, bar, salon and spa, ride service, or hotel service. Start from your personal baseline, mark visible service moments as Met, Missed, or Not applicable, and see every adjustment behind the final percentage.

CALCULATE WITH CONTROL
Enter the check and included tax, then choose before- or after-tax basis. Use a preset or adjust the percentage one point at a time. Split between up to 100 people and choose exact cents, tip rounding, total rounding, or per-person rounding.

HANDLE REAL GROUPS
Create a named weighted split when equal shares do not fit. Give each person relative shares, cover a guest with the gift control, and let Tip Arbiter redistribute that portion among the remaining group. Every allocation reconciles to the displayed total down to the cent.

KEEP A USEFUL HISTORY
Save verdicts, quick calculations, and weighted splits. Search by service, note, or evidence; inspect summary statistics; reopen details; share a result; or export your records as readable JSON.

MAKE IT YOURS
Edit every service baseline, select default tax basis and rounding, set a default percentage and guest count, and choose whether to use haptic feedback.
