It works great and I would have given it 5 stars if the round up feature would remain on after you click it. This is my second time buying this app. Had to upgrade my phone and my old version wouldn’t work on the new phone. No floating decimal either. Right now I feel ripped off. Round up and down didn’t work on the free copy either. You tip on the PRE-TAX total. We get a lot of foreigners here and they may not know that. What this calculator needs is too gave the first field state "pre-tax tota"l and a field that lets you put in the amount of tax. Add that and I'll change my rating. ### 3/5 — Splitting *2018-09-28* The whole reason that I have a tipping app is so I don’t have to do arithmetic. So when you’re splitting a tab it only gives you the total but we all throw down our credit cards and so we need both the individual tip amount and then the individual totals so I’ll we have to do is write that down on the check. But other reviewers are right, pre-tax subtotal MUST be an option for proper tipping etiquette and to save time! But the updates states that it is optimized for the 6/6+. Which got me very excited. But to my disappointment, it is still not optimized for the screen resolution of the iPhone 6/6+ that came out almost a year and a half ago. Please add REAL iPhone 6/6+ support. This is a paid app! ### 3/5 — Tip *2014-09-30, version 2.0.2* I like how easy it is to use this app.. It's great but would be better if it could breakdown the check total into subtotal and tax. The purist insist you only tip on the subtotal. In this case you have to mentally add the tax to the total and if you are splitting it, then divide...that kind of takes away the whole point of the calculator.
