What's New in Tip Calculator

4.7.0

October 30, 2026

NEW: Credit card fee. Restaurant adds a surcharge for paying by card? Turn on Credit Card Fee in Settings and a Card Fee line appears on the calculator. Enter it as a percentage of the bill or as a fixed amount, and TipCheck adds it to your total without ever tipping on it. It works with Round Up and Split the Bill, and it's saved with your Tip Log entries and PDF reports. NEW: Designed for iPhone Duo. TipCheck now fits both screens, folded or open, and keeps the tabs, number pad and buttons clear of the fold when your phone is partly open. IMPROVED: Tap anywhere outside a field to close the keyboard. Plus smoother rotation and other behind-the-scenes improvements. Enjoying TipCheck? A quick review on the App Store really helps!

Not working correctly

Ever since the update when you put in the amounts the numbers actually cover everything so you cannot see if you are putting in the correct amount.

Updated App

I don’t like the new format! It’s confusing and doesn’t give you the check total before the tip is added!

I’ve love it for years!

Awesome!

Awesome! Quick and easy to use. Easily adjustable tip. Tip recommendations for various services. My favorite feature is that the advertisements come AFTER you've calculated the tip. The previous tip calculator I had took me directly to an advertisement when I opened it, which was very annoying when you're pulling out out at the register to calculate the tip!

Used to be good…

…now loaded with intrusive ads taking up the whole screen. When I last used it, I got a scam pop-up saying that my phone had been infected. I immediately closed the app, restarted my phone, and deleted TipCheck.
