Needs work tho *2019-08-31* I love the idea however I find the math to be off, I start to put in my numbers and my screen will go black. I entered yesterday’s tips 3x. And backed it up. It’s disappeared again. ### 3/5 — Needs to be updated!!!!!!!! *2019-04-11, version 3.5* Started out as a 5star app and slowly became a 3star app with the loss of the iwatch app because there hasn’t been an update in 3years???!!!! Please update to bring this incredibly useful app back to its 5star place! ### 2/5 — So far no good *2017-02-04, version 3.5* I bought this because I was using the free version and thought I liked it. BUT, it said if I bought the full version, I could export the data from the free version right to the full version. That does not work - it just wants me to email a spreadsheet. Also, there is no support to be able to ask how to do this. Not happy at all that I bought this crap app - don't waste your &$ ### 3/5 — Crashes a lot. *2016-10-12* Very good app or tool for recording tips, however it crashes a lot and is not very stable. I keep having to constantly deleting and reinstalling it for it to work properly. The only thing I'd like to change is the "no show hourly" option in the settings. It'd be nice that when I have it activated, it shows the hourly wage and when I go to setting to deactivate it, it'd be nice if all the wages and hourly info were invisible. ### 2/5 — Loved it then hated it *2016-02-13* I believe I work at the same restaurant the person who started this app was at. I loved it and do like the functionality of it, but even after backing up my phone, all the information was lost! Not cool. ### 1/5 — Crashing *2015-11-07* This app was a dream until the recent iOS update. All of my years of data was erased and now when I try to save tips the app just crashes. WHY. Please fix ASAP!! ### 2/5 — Frustrated! *2015-10-20* This app has been great for the first year and half I've used it, until the recent update. All of my info was erased and when I went to backup each file, it still crashed! Very frustrating!! Grr ### 3/5 — Would have been 5*, except... *2015-10-15* This app has been great, a godsend for someone like me who would normally struggle to keep any meaningful track of combined hours and tip earnings. I would recommend using as many features as possible to really give a clear picture of total earnings per hour, tip earnings versus sales, tipout and earnings by week / month. This eventually gives the power to compare your earnings to the same time in previous years; Christmas v. Christmas, or if like me you work near an arena, which shows are good earners and which not. On from the above I would have rated the app 5*, except for the fact that after hitting go on a routine update of the app, upon opening anew I was devastated to find all my data had been lost since I started using the app had vanished, effectively erasing nearly a year's worth of information painstakingly entered every day after work. I must admit there is a feature which encourages you to backup the data to a file which you then e-mail to yourself in case of a problem. Clearly I had either turned this off at some point or not done it for so long it stopped reminding me. I imagined it was designed so if you lost your phone you could pick it up on a new device, not that the app would wipe itself on update!! In any case MAKE SURE YOU USE THE BACKUP FEATURE REGULARLY!! Otherwise, happy tracking 😋 ### 3/5 — Don't update!!!! *2015-09-23* Loved this app until I updated it... This is the first review I've written on any app, because it needs to be known that this update has bugs. Once I updated this, it erased all of my information - hours, tips, etc. Don't update until it's fixed! ### 2/5 — Argh! You broke it! *2015-09-15* I have been using this app to keep track of my massage therapy tips for nearly four years. As of the latest update (September 9th, I believe) it keeps crashing! Very, very frustrating. When I enter my tips and them hit “save”, it crashes. (5***** if the back up and send by email coul be fixed) just make sure you have the file in your email because sometime, it send without the file saying (null). Just send it back until you have the file attached to it! However this past year it just quit working. The app will open but every time I try to make an entry the app crashes. My company may place me in several restaurants or filling several tipped positions within a pay period. This app has helped me track where I make my money with the multiple jobs feature in a very easy-to-understand way. It's especially helpful since my paycheck only says "$x tips" and includes all positions and jobs worked that week. The next feature I would love to see is a "meal period" drop-down so I can organize breakfast vs lunch vs dinner vs double vs clopen shifts! ### 5/5 — Keep crashing? Try reboot the device. *2016-01-31* I was having the same problem last couple months that couldn't saved any new data and kept crashing. Very quick respond ( Thank you very much for that 👍🏼) of my email to the developer with the suggestion that I should try reboot my iPhone and check the app again. Where I did and the app seems more stable now and I am able to save new data again. So folks! Reboot your devices! Good luck! Somehow, I did lost about 6 months of my data out of sudden for no reason. Hopefully the Devs will find the bugs and fix it. For now, remember to backup the date often. Other than that, THIS IS A REALLY REALLY REALLY GREAT AND VERY USEFUL TIPS RECORDS APP!
