## What is TipOut?

TipOut is the tip tracker made for servers and bartenders.

LOG A SHIFT IN SECONDS
Hours or clock-in/out times, card and cash tips, sales and tip-out, on a keypad built for speed.

SCAN YOUR CHECKOUT
Snap your end-of-shift checkout and TipOut reads the numbers for you. Set a checkout up once and every scan after that fills in automatically. You review everything before it's saved.

SPLIT THE BAR'S TIPS
Bar Split pools card and cash tips, takes out the tip-out, and divides the rest by the hours each bartender worked, down to the cent, with each person's card and cash share.

KNOW WHAT YOU REALLY MAKE
Take-home and real hourly pay for every shift and every paycheck, on your pay schedule (weekly, every two weeks or twice a month).

BUILT FOR THE JOB
Server, bartender and trainer roles, each with its own wage and tip-out.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads, no tracking. Receipt photos are never stored. Delete your account and data anytime.

TIPOUT PRO
Free accounts get 10 receipt scans a month. TipOut Pro ($2.99/month or $19.99/year, with a free first week) adds 200 scans a month, earnings history and a tax-year summary with CSV export. Scan packs add scans that never expire.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2026-10-26*

I seriously love Tip Out! It makes tracking my tips, keeping everything organized, and knowing exactly what I’m making so easy. It’s super accurate and takes the guesswork out of everything. If you’re a server or bartender, you NEED this app! Trust me, it’s so worth it and I recommend it to everyone in the industry! 💗

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.6.0 — 2026-10-27

Scanning just got a lot faster.

• Autocapture: point your camera at your checkout and TipOut takes the photo for you, usually in under two seconds. It only speaks up when something needs fixing, like more light or holding still, and it straightens and crops the photo so small print stays sharp.
• Faster first scan: setting up a new checkout no longer asks about tip-out. It uses your usual tip-out, which you can change anytime in Settings → Receipt scanning.
• One tap to Save: once every field has a number, tap Done to jump straight to Save Shift.
• A look at TipOut Pro: on the free plan, Earnings now shows your take-home so far this year and a preview of everything Pro adds.
• Earnings stats no longer get cut off on smaller screens.
• New accounts start with clock in and out for entering hours.

### 1.5.6 — 2026-10-25
