I ordered a few times with express delivery and it comes so late after (like +2 hours than expected time) so when we most needed the drinks they didn’t come. Please improve your delivery crew if that’s the issue you’re having. ### 1/5 — Rarely have items ordered *2021-04-25, version 6.9.0* At least 50% of the time I order from them, theirRetailers have run out of the products I want. It gets frustrating finding something you’d like, and then mostly not being able to drink it! A bunch of their product descriptions are still unwritten, with lame, cutesy placeholders about not having had a chance to review them yet. It’s just too much work, unless you are prepared to sit by your phone and make alternative choices, which are often of a lesser value. Tonight I ended up with something that was $10 less than what I initially ordered, and if I hadn’t brought it up with them they would’ve just taken my money; nothing said. ### 1/5 — Spammy *2021-04-23, version 6.9.0* You can’t disable notifications.. which means you get spammed with their promotional junk every 2/3 nights a week.. sure you can disable APP notifications.. but then you don’t get driver updates. So i’ll use another service. ### 1/5 — Forget this app! *2021-04-16, version 6.9.0* Thought I’d give them ago as I’m a regular with other Services (JimmyBrings and Liquoroo) as I live I live in the city. Products are more expensive than their competitors, delivery is more expensive than the competition, which you can overlook, however, if it ever arrives, you will expect to wait several hours, when their competitors are within the hour, not to mention when it did actually arrive the beer which was originally cold, was warmer the the gates of Hell. Pick your game up Tipple you suck! What a joke! ### 1/5 — Buggy problematic system *2021-02-21, version 6.7.0* I just had to reset my phone and delete this app as it wouldn’t let me leave. I would go back to my home page on my phone just for the app to reopen. I tried closing multiple time. In the end had to reset my phone. Went through all this and they don’t even deliver here. ### 1/5 — DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! SO BUGGY *2021-02-20, version 6.7.0* This app is full of bugs! After downloading, I wasn’t able to do too much.. tried to close or force quit the app and it would reopen automatically, I couldn’t use anything else on my phone and couldn’t even turn phone off to reboot it... the app would just reappear. It completely crashed my phone. I’ll be heading direct to the suppliers rather than use this horrid app!! ### 3/5 — Suddenly not delivering to my address *2021-01-26, version 6.5.4* Been using this app at various addresses in Sydney for over a year. Always quick, fast, efficient. Suddenly being told by the app that I don’t get delivery at my current address despite very much having that option for over six months? Seems like bs. Until now the app’s been excellent. ### 1/5 — Would give them 0 if I could *2021-01-08, version 6.5.4* The worst customer experience I've ever seen. I ordered my first order on the 22nd of December. It was meant to arrive in 20 minutes. An hour and a half later it hasn't arrived. I get onto live chat, where they keep me on hold for another 20 minutes, only to tell me my account was pending verification (note to developers: DON'T LET PEOPLE PURCHASE IF THEIR ACCOUNT ISN'T ABLE TO RECEIVE IT). So they order a refund. It's now Jan 7 and I'm yet to receive the refund. Seriously, use jimmybrings. I'm an app developer, and a blind chimpanzee could operate a business better than these halfwits. ### 1/5 — Dont bother *2020-12-27, version 6.5.4* 2+ hours... better to order from a restaurant. ### 1/5 — Combined with 7-11 disaster *2020-12-02, version 6.5.4* In the past 10 days we have had three tipple/7-11 order with incorrect and/or missing items each time When I went on tipple chat for 1 of these deliveries and them I had missing items I was offered a refund -- but no sign of that as yet Yesterday I had an item missing and an incorrect item and the delivery guy was (for some reason) calling thru my ID & when he asked the person he was speaking to said that the order was not their responsibility & I needed to call 7-11 myself I don't even know which 7-11 it was collected from & even if I did, I don't see why it's my responsibility to follow up on problems when tipple have signed a partnership & should be accountable Really unimpressed with the whole debacle ### 1/5 — Horrible *2020-11-21, version 6.5.4* Waited over an hour. They cancels orders more then they actually fulfill them. Don’t gather data *2023-08-18, version 7.3.1* App has a long history of collecting data from users whether it actually provides a service to that area or not. Be upfront about the service you do or don’t provide, so users can make an informed decision about sharing their data with you. Don’t provide a service? Then don’t misleadingly advertise the potential that you do. Delivery area has remained limited for years. If you’re a local retailer that only delivers locally, be transparent. ### 1/5 — Wouldn’t give me my order !!! *2022-12-09, version 7.0.0* Driver turned up with the drink was then told by door dash (who they use to fulfill the orders) to return to the store and not give me my order. No idea why, I had already paid in full, given him my drivers license? There was no issue on my end and now we have no alcohol for our party, ruined the night. Absolute shambles of a service. There are lots of other alcohol delivery apps that deliver promptly and have a good range and I would recommend any of those over tipple. ### 1/5 — No refund *2022-05-07, version 6.10.8* I ordered beers and requested a refund after the order had not even been picked at the store after 2 hours. Then I was told I wouldn’t receive a refund to my bank account and would have to buy something within tipple.
