Help me help my friend to get some education on using his Iphone. ### 2/5 — Good info - horrible implementation *2019-10-02* Although there’s a ton of helpful info here, there is one extremely annoying thing about: It doesn’t remember the last page you looked at, even if you switch to another app for only a few seconds. This has been true for months! Not even an ability to set bookmarks!! I tried the in-app purchase, and this didn’t provide any improvement. Something that is supposed to save time by putting news together, ends up wasting time looking for where you left off. **Developer response:** Thanks for your review and your feedback. Unfortunately it’s never the info I am looking for! What is needed is an app like tap smart that would answer everyday quandaries people have no idea what to do with. They are good but Tips & Tricks is not only concise but often suggests things I would never have thought to investigate. HOWEVER I wish that when I get multiple notifications on my iPad/Phone and tap one of them the rest wouldn’t instantly disappear. There is nothing wrong with my wifi or internet connection and everything else works fine. I have always liked this app, but now I am very disappointed. This needs to be fixed. ### 1/5 — How do I cancel this app *2024-04-06* With the 4.7 rating and the reviews I downloaded this app. It isn’t a simple guide with specific topics and it seems to be aimed at OS16 I’m using OS17 so the app is useless for me. Also, as with other apps there is no mention of its cost then costs spring up,,,just be upfront about costs. Also you have to use the fingerprint thing which gives no indication of price. How can I uninstall and wipe out any hidden cost. **Developer response:** Hi John, thanks for your feedback. Our tips are fully updated for iOS 17, but still mention many iOS 16 features which are still relevant. We do offer a Premium subscription which removes ads and unlocks bonus content, but this is completely optional and certainly not a 'hidden' cost. Apple doesn't allow that. If you're still interested in a simple guide with specific topics, check out the completely free 'All Tips' section of the app which is split into handy chapters and covers all the basics and more. If you're worried you accidentally signed up for a subscription, you can check that in Settings > iCloud > Subscriptions. Hope this helps! Not sure what happened but now it loads the available articles in the left side panes, but any that you click on never load, just spins and spins. I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling to no avail. BTW, the ads still load just fine! **Developer response:** Hi RF63 - sorry to hear you can't read our posts since the latest update! Thanks, Tom (Editor) ### 1/5 — App won’t update (Premium content) *2022-10-25, version 14.0.1* This app will notify you that it has updates but will hang with screen saying “Downloading Tips Content” for an eternity and never update. Been a day now for me! Yes, apps been open the whole time. So you reboot etc. etc. etc. and no luck. Then you look for email address to email them as to the problem but it says contact Apple Support. Ok, did that and Apple says this is a third party application and we don’t support that. I agree, but Apple has no email and/or phone number for them. So you’re stuck all the way around. My suggestion: Don’t put out the $50.00 plus for Premium tips. Obviously this company has no interest in talking to people nor do they care that the app don’t work. Please fix this problem as I miss reading your news updates each day or so and I have found some great new apps to try by following your recommendations ANY NEWS ON WHEN THE BUGS IN THIS APP WILL BE FIXED?? You offered me a beta version but I decided to wait, never realising how long you would take to fix the app. I have been locked out since November so I have missed so much. I have been considering the paid version but it seems to be by subscription rather than one outright payment and I prefer the later. However, if I am locked out of the free version this would probably be the case with the paid one too. PLEASE, PLEASE URGENTLY FIX THE APP. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 3 MONTHS NOW, OR AT LEAST GIVE SOME INDICATION OF YOUR PROGRESS. **Developer response:** Apologies for the recent crashes!
