I had receipts for my laptop and headphones and was able to manual add the iPad I received as a gift. I had to wait for payment on the iPad but received instant cash on my other items. Was able to sell my phone without any hassle ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Fake app *2023-11-13* I saw an advertisement for this app on CNBC so I figured it was trustworthy, however I sent in an iPhone 12 Pro Max for a $500 payout just to have my account surprisingly banned 4 days after them receiving it. The phone was in perfect shape, unlocked, and wiped. They now have my phone I got no money and my accounts banned. The app is a scam. Don't trust it. Got to figure out how to fix this mess now. May need lawyers or BBB but out of principle I have to figure out how to fix it so others don't get scammed as well. ### 1/5 — Sell your Gmail inbox to use. *2023-11-03* Just to be super clear up front: this app can only be used if you give it full access to scan and harvest data from your entire Gmail inbox. It’s an interesting idea if you have complete trust access won’t be misused, but is kind of a huge caveat. If you’re cool with it, as they’re launching the app, looks like you have a limited window for better than market average trades in values so 🤷‍♂️? Update: after leaving this review, a company representative went into their user DB to find my personal number and text me about it. Again, I am making no judgments about the privacy tradeoffs here but that’s also a big yikes. ### 1/5 — Sell your Gmail inbox to use. *2023-10-31* Just to be super clear up front: this app can only be used if you give it full access to scan and harvest data from your entire Gmail inbox. Instant Cash Offers are available for devices where there is a receipt found when connecting your Gmail / Amazon. Looks like in this case, the app didn't find a receipt for your iPhone 12. But, you can manually select your iPhone 12 configuration through the app to trigger a Cash Out. In that case, the payout would not be instant but would be paid out after we have a chance to assess your device at our operations warehouse. The entire shipping and assessment process takes 2-3 business days. Throughout the entire process your device is fully insured and completely covered every step of the way. Thanks again! ### 2/5 — Tracking numbers sometimes incorrect *2023-11-21* I traded in an old pixel 7 and when I click to track the phone it shows an incorrect tracking number. There’s no way to call customer support and I’m not sure if it will correctly track my shipment. Kinda stressful there’s no way to contact them. ### 2/5 — Misleading *2023-10-16* Instant cash out doesn’t work for any of the products I’ve tried. Instant offer is more accurate. Product has to mail then take 2-3 days for assessment. Understandable however not as advertised ### 3/5 — Can’t delete account without connecting Google *2024-02-03* I tried this out after listening to MP on The Talk Show. I didn’t realize this was a gmail harvester, and the app won’t let you do anything until you link your gmail — including deleting your account. So now this company has my name and phone number and there is no way to delete it. I really love the idea of this app, but please rethink requiring users to link their gmail. Your intent may be to only scan for receipts, but companies get hacked all the time. ### 3/5 — Don’t have everything figured out (Updated) *2024-01-30* I put something in and it’s been in transit for almost a week. I have nothing to show for it, no contact info, etc etc. Just the tracking number. The Uber driver who picked it up didn’t know how it worked either. Oh well. Update: customer service has been super proactive and the situation has resolved. It took a few days but they’ve been super involved and helpful. I moved the rating up just based on that and how they’ve resolved the outcome.
