Each ticket was $35, $70 total. 2 minutes after I booked it, I saw I bought them in the Seattle location instead of the Miami location. I immediately went to their support team. I explained the situation. They told me I could not switch my booking to Miami or cancel for a refund. I escalated to a supervisor and the claims team, same result. I understand the cancellation policy, but the fact that I reached out 2 minutes after I bought the tickets on an honest mistake in the wrong location and they weren’t willing to refund or switch my booking that soon after i bought the tickets is a very poor show of customer service. The Tiqets app confirmed tickets for 27 July, but when I later opened the PDF ticket to gain entry, it had somehow been issued for 28 July - apparently it is normal for their booking system to adjust the date? YET ON THE APP IT DEFINATELY SHOWED CONFIRMED FOR THE 27TH!. As a result, we were refused entry so as we had travelled I had to pay directly! The app showed one date, while the pdf ticket showed another, making it very easy to miss the discrepancy on a mobile phone. At another attraction, Tiqets provided QR code tickets and detailed entry instructions in the app, so naturally I assumed I had everything required. However, when we arrived, we were told those tickets were not valid and that a completely different ticket type was needed. After a lengthy discussion with Tiqets chat, I was informed that this alternative ticket had been sent the night before by a separate third-party vendor, not by Tiqets itself, and the email had gone into my junk folder. There was no clear warning in the app that the 'new' bar code ticket Tiqets had been sent. As a result of these issues, I ended up paying for entry again at the gates for a family of 4 and am now approximately €150 out of pocket. What's most disappointing is that, despite the problems arising from a confusing and fragmented ticketing process, customer service has so far been surprisingly unhelpful in resolving the matter or offering appropriate compensation. A ticketing company should make entry simple, not create confusion over which ticket is valid. My experience was stressful, expensive, and completely avoidable had I booked directly with the attractions.
