That’s kind of all it ever tells me - is to open the app and has no useful information until I open/refresh the app or press the button on the watch. Great watch love the face, love the dial, love not having to charge it, but I’m so sick of doing updates - having to re-sign in, re-install the app after a update (seems monthly) and looking down and not being able to tell time. It seems like it’s updated weekly and there’s no new features ever added to the watch. It’s the same features and functionality. I don’t even know what they’re updating like every week!! Kind of ruins the whole purpose of having a watch. The amount of things that it can do was amazing. However my first watch I had to return as it wouldn’t connect to blue tooth . You kindly sent me a replacement and I then set it up fantastic all features functioning brilliant. A while later we changed our WiFi supplier . Because of this I lost the connection with the bluetooth with my watch. Eventually after watching you tube I managed to set my watch back up by logging out and going to factory settings. Excellent. Watch back up and working all except the compass . I cannot reset it I think I will Need to go back to factory settings to do this again to correct it everything else works fine as I said before I was really pleased when I got my T touch solar watch however these few problems have been a bit of a bug bare . I’m happy to give five stars the watch is unusual in what it can do I like the way it works with modern functions and old style hands. And modern electronics. Just feel a bit let down with it . ### 5/5 — Good *2026-08-12, version 10.1.1* Good ### 5/5 — Started off well….. *2026-08-09, version 10.1.1* I have had my T-Touch Solar Connect for close to a year and from day one it connected to the iOS app and worked fine. A couple of firmware updates along adding more functionality and it still worked fine. But this latest firmware update and it has all but bricked the watch. Cannot connect at all. Have rebooted phone and watch. Deleted app and reinstalled. Have followed all the troubleshooting and still….nothing. C’mon Tissot techies, get it together. Yes, if I chose, I could use the watch without connecting to the phone but it is a “connect” watch, as the name implies. Was happy for nearly a year. Not happy now. UPDATE: Set the brick watch aside for four days, tried again and Voilà….all worked fine, just as it did on the day I originally purchased it. App uploaded my earlier data and all information is intact. Don’t know why it took my ignoring the watch to finally come back online. UPDATE 2: Since upgrading to os26.6. , the app and watch will not sync. Tissot has always been a reliable name in my collection. The Gen. 2 T-Touch Solar was my favorite, but it was plagued with an LCD display that was too costly for repair, and a defective wrist band that peeled, and was made with Velcro. I then purchased the T-Connect Solar, ignoring the Connect part. I was disappointed initially upon its arrival, and has taken some time getting used to. However, If you like smart devices, the T-Connect Solar is a perfect match. I still own all three working watches. T-Touch Solar Gen 2 is still my favorite though the LCD display is useless, and the wrist band is disintegrating. Yet I love wearing my T-Connect Solar.
