This was one of the selling points. Seems like a little bit of a bait and switch. Will update my review if this feature gets added. ### 1/5 — What is this… *2024-11-13* I wanted to love this app, but there’s a lot to be desired. For instance, I can’t restore a drill to its original settings without reloading the app. If I move the ball machine on a specific drill, it erases the original drills settings. That’s not good. Tried that on D11 (forehand cross court dinks) to backhand dinks and all was lost. ### 2/5 — Not Polished *2024-11-16* As soon as you open the app, you will see text wrapping all over the screen. Words are split in the middle, making this app look like a novice high-schooler wrote it. The developer needs to take pride in their work and take themselves more seriously - please look at other high-quality apps for inspiration. Use icons instead of lengthy words, etc. The original app did not have these embarrassing issues and looked professional. I’m shocked the QA team approved this UI in its current form. ### 4/5 — Getting closer. Keep pushing. *2025-04-06* I’d give the new app a 3.5 after initial testing. I rounded up to 4 stars to be nice because it’s such a massive, delightful improvement. That said, still missing some key basic functionality — for the app to prevent the user from inputting impossible settings into the machine. Ie, changing speed/spin/direction with a feed rate that doesn’t allow the hardware to actually adjust in time. I hope Titan maintains this positive direction and accelerates the software improvements to support the awesome hardware they’ve brought to market. Update: - i assume this isn’t a hardware limitation… but there needs to be more precision on feed rate intervals. At least .25 seconds instead of .5 seconds. Though if this is a hardware limitation then I retract this comment. ### 4/5 — Great but needs an Apple Watch app *2024-12-31* Overall this is a huge improvement from the previous app. Does everything I want. Would be 5/5 if there was a companion Apple Watch to turn it off and on or pause a drill. Annoying to have to dimple with a phone to do this. PLEASE MAKE A WATCH APP:) ### 4/5 — Getting closer. I think this desperately needs an Apple Watch companion app to start/stop the machine. Implement that and we are at 5 stars! ### 4/5 — Awesome Improvement ! *2024-11-06* Congrats Titan! ALL the shortcomings of the last version have been fixed and then some! So much more intuitive and significantly easier to use! ALL that is except for one… , sure hope the watch app isn’t far behind, 🤞 it’s the fifth star and would make this Titan Drills Pro a perfect 5 star. ### 5/5 — Incredible *2024-12-17* Our machine is new I never used the old app but this app is far and above what I expected once you get the hang of it. Go to the library, add drills to your drill list then have a blast customizing them. I just made 5 new drills for 2 players. It was super easy bc you can copy and paste shots! You can also test a setting pressing “Test” and it will fire one ball. It’s deadly accurate so you can really emulate almost any game condition. You can go repetitive to groove in mechanics or randomize and/or shuffle which I really needed bc in games I tend to get flustered- do random/shuffle with very little time before feeds and it trains cat-like reflexes.
