I’ve been shooting fireworks off for almost 6 decades. I don’t need to be warned every time I open the goddamn app. 😡 Two extra stars for developer being available for actual human to human chat. Maybe we can work this mess out. In the meantime, I guess this is 1982 again , where you have to SAVE SAVE SAVE SAVE SAVE your work, or LOSE IT! 😝 ### 3/5 — Still need music to submit show *2023-07-09, version 3.7.2* Though you can now create and share a show without music, you still need a music track to submit it to the firing devices. In a panic with many people hoping for the show to start I couldn’t get my show to work. So I add a 6-minute audio track to my 18-minute show. They seemed to allow me to submit so I go back and add the same audio track 2 more times. Submit the show, and all cues after that first song were gone, requiring me to manually fire the show for after the 6-minute mark. I really feel like music is just tech debt to this app and causes multiple problems in multiple ways. Also you can rename your cues but they are not saved when shared. It would be great to allow me to save shows using iCloud storage so I can create a show on my Mac, but use my phone to submit it. ### 3/5 — Bug for import music *2023-06-05, version 3.6.9* I am problem with my app. Bug for import music because is connect at my apple music but new songs not appearing. Please you have a solution. Thanks ### 2/5 — At least one unit works *2022-05-21, version 3.6.6* I bought two firefly units with power plates, followed The instructions and charged everything properly before even attempting to secure the power plate to my units. One power plate charges perfectly and has had zero issues the other has been replaced three times and all four plates have had charging issues and won’t hold a charge. On top of that, I spent a good amount of time planning my fireworks show with the show creation tool in the app. And the app has wiped my saved show twice now. My intent was to launch everything in 12 hours from this postBut it is looking like I will have to do half my show with a lighter and the other half with firefly… if it doesn’t delete my show again. ### 3/5 — Promising…. Needs some work *2021-07-04, version 3.6.4* The create show piece is very centered around adding music and this is unfortunate. I thought music to fireworks were for TV shows only. Half the screen is dedicated to show a sound wave when it would be better served to list my cues and a short height timeline instead. No ability to name my cues for things not found in the catalog. The timeout before the app resets itself is too short. When creating a show I need to find details about a firework I’m adding and if I take more than a minute, all my changes are lost. I shouldn’t have to save each time I want to look away. When running a show it would be great if the cues had their name and number on each one. **Developer response:** We have updated the system to enable you to name cues AND don’t require music any longer! ### 4/5 — Lacking one important feature *2020-10-27, version 3.6.0* It would be fantastic if you could create a show solely based on timing without having to use a music track. I just want to set off fireworks with some delays between effects, not have a complete production. Seems silly that you’re required to use a music track. Edit: this is now supported! Fantastic! ### 5/5 — Tried the new WiFi Version *2020-06-22, version 3.4.0* Upgraded my system after using Bluetooth and wow its just a ton better. I’m really glad they swapped from Bluetooth to WiFi. The range is 10x what you’d get from a Bluetooth system and the support is outstanding. Can’t wait for July 4th ! ### 3/5 — Mediocre product that needs work *2020-06-22, version 3.4.0* I honesty can’t say enough good things about Kevin and the firefly....except when I can’t. The company is responsive and Kevin is great, however the product itself lacks some significant features even after the latest update. You can’t name your cues if it isn’t listed in the very limited built in catalog. You can’t setup a fireworks show without adding music tracks either. (No non musical timing abilities)..now to be fair It’s not often you get a company that not only listens to feedback but actively seeks criticism and critique to further improve their products. Always improving, always helpful if an issue arises. Unfortunately the issues are significant. ### 5/5 — Even Your Backyard Show Will Look Professional! *2020-06-22, version 3.4.0* The quick and dirty about this app is that it takes you from looking down, working and lighting, to sitting back with the rest of the crowd as you all watch the fireworks show you’ve created. This is simple to use, quick to create a show with and flexible enough that you’re able to create cues to meet your needs. I’ve been using it for over a year now and I wouldn’t go back to the old school way of setting up a show. Create, save and share your shows with others or other devices using a QR code which the app provides once you’ve finished editing your show. Want a little more good news? You can also include your own music to the show by adding the desired tracks from your mobile device. Pair the device with a Bluetooth speaker(s) and launch your show, sit back, listen and watch for a change, you won’t regret it! ### 5/5 — So easy the 5 year old can do it. *2020-06-21, version 3.4.0* This app is constantly updated to fit the needs of all of its users. It is so easy to use that a 5 year can use it to shoot fireworks from it. We’ve had a blast making our shows and enjoying the spectacular fireworks put to music. The customer service is second to none with the creator himself helping me the few times I had questions. I can’t wait for this years show with the new WiFi update. The FireFly has elevated our fireworks greatly and made our show a must see in the neighborhood. ### 3/5 — Can no longer connect with Bluetooth *2020-05-31, version 3.2.1* If I was writing this last year I would give this five stars. However after I loaded the latest version my iPad 4 will no longer connect to the unit. I also tried to use an Android phone and my iPhone 7. All three device will not connect. I have charged the power plate overnight, erased my iPad and did a new setup, tried resetting the unit numerous time and still no connection. The only change from last year is the application version. I have contacted support and have have not gotten a fix for the problem. Makes setting up and programming a show easy. Have had no issues setting my shows to music. Love the reusable igniters. Definitely recommend this over a higher priced cobra system for the backyard fireworks enthusiasts. It can't find the box even when it's literally inches from my iPad. I tried everything and it still won't discover the actual firing box. It worked the first time I used it and then it stopped. Did everything just like instructions said. Every light was lit green and red, when we swiped to start NOTHING happened. NOTHING. So disappointed. ### 1/5 — Needs work *2019-06-25, version 2.7* Worked great year 1 with manually firing one at a time. Year 2 we made up the show with 4 songs. Was a nightmare, couldn’t get to stay connected and then when it was connected it would only fire 1 out 4 correctly. Ended up having to just set them off with a lighter 90% of our fireworks. I’m also using the most expensive batteries possible. Sold my FireFly for a Cobra! ### 1/5 — Loved it *2018-08-08, version 2.3* I used Firefly for my cousin’s birthday, and it worked amazingly well. My family and I were easily able to create a firework show to her favorite song. She and everybody at the party loved it. 10/10 recommend this, and we will definitely use again! ### 1/5 — Not good for Apple products *2018-07-03, version 2.3* Tried with a iPhone and iPad, neither would connect. But My GT2404-A1 won’t pair with the updated app! Help! ### 2/5 — A lot of issues *2023-06-25, version 3.7.1* First off last year I had no issues. This year I don’t know where to start. I guess I’ll start with the two biggest ones. Yesterday when I wanted to add a firework that wasn’t in the database I could just edit the zero fuse time selection. Today there is no edit button. When I try to save and exit it says no audio file selected and won’t let me out unless I choose one. If I select don’t save and exit my show disappears. And that’s just the first 2 issues. A small investment for years of enjoyment. ### 5/5 — This device is cool *2021-06-30, version 3.6.4* Don’t listen to all the other reviews, this thing works as advertised and allows you to watch the fireworks with everyone else, only note I would give keep your kegs secured, as you may not be close enough to see if one keg tips, like you would lighting individually. I had 15 of them them on a 4x8 sheet and as everyone went off it bounced one to the edge and it tipped over, luckily in a direction where no one was. ### 5/5 — Happy customer *2020-10-23, version 3.6.0* Amazing and user friendly product ! Finally I decided to find an easier way and firefly won the selection. The remote firing unit and flexibility is awesome and the immense support you get from the developer and support group are truly second to none. ### 5/5 — Wonderful app for creating memories! *2020-06-30, version 3.5.0* I got to know Titan Firefly from my bf. He used this app for a fireworks display on the beach and proposed to me! Omg, it was such a great fireworks display. I said yes of course. We both love fireworks and I was so impressed that I started using it as well. It was a very cool app, very user friendly and intuitive, you still need a little time to figure out everything. But it has a solid range and what I really like most is that I can set my fireworks to my favorite music. This is great, now we’re able to create wonderful fireworks display from the app on our phone when and where we can, definitely helping us create more memories as we move on to our future married life! I highly recommend it. ### 5/5 — Great product *2020-06-30, version 3.5.0* Firefly is great!! Its easy to use and very intuitive. I recently got more into fireworks with the Quarantine and this product is exactly what I was looking for (I think its the only one on the market). Its loads of fun and my whole family has started to make their own shows and we compete to see whose is the best. I love it so much I even gave my cousin one for his birthday in May! It has great range, I can set off shows from my back porch. Kevin is very responsive and I hear he has more stuff in the works!
