Every single time I have to manually open the app, disconnect and reconnect my Titan Mirage to receive notifications. That too, it doesn’t surely work. It’s just the mercy of the app at this point to send notifications as and when it wishes. And weirdly, the watch too started behaving odd since the update. Sometimes the display screen is getting frozen for so long with a single notification. I don’t even understand what the developers are doing. Also, after multiple requests and waiting for 2 and half years, the watch face options still like horrible, as if some kid has picked up a random third grade watch from a street vendor for a few bucks. Rest features it sync well. Complained customer care they asked to visit store , visited store they asked to mail customer cell. After sales Service is really bad for the amount titan celestor 2.0 is bought. Even if the watch is connected by blue tooth to the phone, the app says not connected. It disconnects repeatedly and you have to go through connection process again and again. Location in app is correct city but phone shows totally different location. I would not recommend spending money for this watch. The watch being a Tata product, I had high expectations. It is particularly useful for long treks, as it accurately displays altitude along with other essential activity metrics. However, there are a few concerns that need attention: 1. Connectivity and Data Sync Issue: Despite Bluetooth being enabled, the watch often does not connect or sync data automatically with the app. Data needs to be updated manually each time, which is inconvenient. This connectivity and synchronization issue should be resolved. 2. Map Display Issue: The app does not show the route map of the running or trekking activity performed, which limits post-activity analysis. The app gives a good understanding and presentation on the data collection, with clean interface so I have no complaints about that. But, my major issues are: 1. I have habit of going for walks at night, after 10:30 PM. What I have noticed is, for some extremely weird reason, this app does not sync step count after 11 PM for that day, despite multiple attempts to connect and refresh. It literally freezes at the step count accumulated till 11. I have to connect with the app following day to get the step count updated accurately for the previous day. 2. The app faces. Barring 2-3, others are absolutely horrible. Out right distasteful. The font, style, coloring, looks like watch faces for some third grade cheap watches brought road side. Please update your watch faces with some decent, minimalist, and dignified models because when we are buying and using relatively costly models, we wish to have faces that complement the brand. For accessing these values you have to search through menu each time for each parameter separately. Not expected from such a renowned company.
