## What is TitanLog?

Free gym workout tracker. Log a set in under 3 seconds, one-handed, then get back to your lift.

No subscription. No ads. No social feed. No account needed to start. Your logging, templates, history, stats, records and export are free and stay free.

FREE TO TRACK, FOREVER

There is no trial clock on your training data. Logging, templates, history, Stats, personal records, backup, and export cost nothing, now or later. The 1,000+ animated exercise demos are free for your first 7 days, then one $19.99 purchase keeps them forever. That's the only thing you can buy.

BUILT FOR SERIOUS LIFTERS

If you've outgrown spreadsheets and Notes but find the big subscription apps bloated, TitanLog fits the gap. It takes the fast-logging discipline of the best lifting apps, strips the AI coaching and social features, and gives you your data back.

FAST LOGGING

Sub-3-second set entry between working sets.
Thumb-reachable controls for one-handed use.
Quick-rep chips for 6, 10, and 12 that log on tap.
Tap a timed exercise to run a live set timer.
Your previous best for each exercise shown at a glance.
Running volume and calories under the workout timer.
Your screen stays awake while you lift.

1,100+ EXERCISES WITH FORM GUIDES

1,100+ built-in exercises, each with step-by-step technique and key cues.
1,000+ looping video demos, on the exercise page and beside your set.
Five tracking types: reps + weight, reps only, time, weight + time, and time + distance.
Create custom exercises in-flow, or import your history from Strong.

VOLUME MATH THAT'S ACTUALLY RIGHT

Pull-ups, dips, and push-ups count your body weight.
Assisted-machine lifts subtract the assist for true effective load.
Two-dumbbell and two-kettlebell lifts count both, with a ×2 toggle you control.
Planks, holds, and loaded carries earn volume for time under load.
Past workouts keep the body weight they were logged with, so your history never shifts.

PROGRESS AND PRs

Volume and heaviest-set charts per exercise.
Calendar heatmap of your training history.
Records flagged automatically: heaviest weight, estimated 1RM, max reps, longest duration, fastest pace, and top-set volume.
Big 3 quick-view pins your best bench, squat, and deadlift.
Every workout estimates calories burned and can fill your Apple Health Move ring.

MAKE IT YOURS

Light, Dark, or System appearance.
Six highlight colors that re-tint the whole app, right down to the home screen icon.
Weight in kg or lb, distance in km or mi, set independently.
Full UI in English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Japanese.

YOUR DATA, YOUR RULES

Local-first storage means full offline use, including airplane mode.
Optional iCloud sync across iPhone and iPad via CloudKit.
Send any template to a training partner as a file. They tap it and it lands in their Templates, on iPhone or Android.
Full-fidelity backup to a single file you can keep, plus CSV and PDF export.
No third-party servers, no analytics-as-a-product, no data resale.
Hide workout and exercise names on your lock screen.

DESIGNED FOR THE GYM

Big tap targets you can hit between sets without looking.
Rest timer with haptics, on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
A chime that plays over your music and through the silent switch.
Sign in with Apple, Google, or email, or just start lifting.

Want a workout log built to respect your time, your data, and your wallet? Download TitanLog and get back to lifting.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.4 — 2026-09-02

TitanLog 2.4 — Plate math that matches your gym, faster set logging, and a sharper app icon.

PLATE MATH USES YOUR BAR
Train in pounds and you now get a 45 lb bar with 45/35/25/10/5/2.5 lb plates, so 135 lb reads as one 45 a side instead of the odd numbers it used to show. Trap bar, Smith machine, and EZ bar each carry their own weight — 60, 20, and 25 lb — because loading them all as a 45 lb bar was off by as much as a whole plate per side. The diagram loads the way you do: heaviest plate against the collar, lightest at the end. Set what your gym actually has under Profile → Plates & barbell.

LOGGING A SET IS FASTER
Weight and reps used to be two screens — the pad slid away and a new one slid back for every set. Now it is one pad that stays put: the highlight moves to Reps, both numbers stay on screen, and the keys never shift under your thumb. Tap either number to jump back and fix it.

REP TARGETS BESIDE THE KEYS
On lifts that track weight, 6, 8, 10 and 12 sit down the right side of the pad. Type the weight, tap the count, and the set is logged without ever leaving the weight field. Anything else you still type.

A BIGGER SET ENTRY PAD
Tap a weight and the pad opens tall enough to see what you type. The exercise name sits at the top so you always know what you are logging, and the loaded bar is drawn right under the number on barbell lifts.

FIX A SET YOU ALREADY LOGGED
Tap any logged set to change its weight or reps, and add a note while you are there — form cues, plate setup, whatever you want to remember next time.

ONE-ARM AND ONE-LEG WORK COUNTS BOTH SIDES
A set of one-arm cable rows is done on each side, so the weight you enter counts twice toward your volume — the same as holding a dumbbell in each hand. It applies to 47 lifts, from Pallof presses and single-leg calf raises to barbell lunges, and you can switch it off for any exercise.

BODY WEIGHT ON EVERY WORKOUT
Your body weight is saved with each session and now shown with it: in the header while you train, on every card in History, and in the workout summary. Stats closes with a body weight trend, so you can see where you are heading.

IMPORT FROM HEVY
Switching over? Profile → Import → Import from Hevy takes your export straight in: workouts, sets, warm-ups and drop sets, notes and RPE. Hevy's file records whether you logged in kilos or pounds, so the numbers arrive exactly as you entered them. Importing from Strong still works and is now labelled as such.

IMPORT A TEMPLATE FROM A FILE
Profile → Import → Import template picks a .titanlog file directly. Use it when a mail app or file manager strips the file's type on the way in and tapping a shared template doesn't open TitanLog.

ABANDONING A WORKOUT NOW DISCARDS IT
Abandon a session and it is deleted along with every set in it. Only workouts you finish are kept, so half-started sessions no longer sit in your history or count toward your Stats totals. The confirmation tells you before you tap.

FIXED TEMPLATE TARGETS
When you saved a workout as a template, the rep target was always written as 8-12 no matter what you actually did — a single set of 5 came back as "1 x 8-12". Sets, reps, and weight now all come from the session you saved.

NEW APP ICON
The arm is redrawn with real depth and shading instead of the flat silhouette, and it reads more clearly at small sizes on your home screen. Your highlight color still re-tints it, so Orange, Blue, Red, Green, Pink, and Purple all follow along.

### 2.3 — 2026-08-26

TitanLog 2.3 — Share a template with anyone.

SHARE A TEMPLATE
Long-press a template under Templates, or tap the share icon on its page, and send it by AirDrop, Mail, Messages, or any app. Your friend taps the .titanlog file and it lands in their Templates with every exercise. Any custom exercise you made comes along. Nothing already in their library gets duplicated. Works between iPhone and Android.

EXERCISES TAB RESPONDS TO THE FIRST TAP
Switch to Exercises and pick a body-part filter right away. You no longer have to tap the search bar and back out first.

### 2.1 — 2026-08-18

TitanLog 2.1 — Bring your own video, and a lighter app.

ADD YOUR OWN VIDEO LINK TO ANY EXERCISE
Every exercise now takes a video link, built-in or custom, not just the ones you created. Open an exercise, tap Add video link (or use the ⋯ menu) and paste a YouTube or web link. It shows up as Watch instructional video on the exercise page, syncs with iCloud, and is included in your backups.

PUSH, PULL, AND LEGS ARE NOW THREE ROUTINES
Each one owns its day template, so the Templates screen groups your split the way you train. If you renamed the old combined routine, nothing changes.

SMALLER DOWNLOAD
The app is about 15 MB lighter. Every exercise demo video was re-encoded in a more efficient format at verified-identical quality, and unused files were cleaned out.

BODY WEIGHT, EXPLAINED
The How weight is logged guide now covers the automatic body-weight import from Apple Health: where to turn it on, and that a weight you type wins until Health records a newer one.

### 2.0 — 2026-07-30

TitanLog 2.0 — Make it yours, and see what you just did.

WORKOUT SUMMARY WHEN YOU FINISH
Tapping Finish now shows what you just did: duration, total volume, calories, set count, and any records you set, with Save as Template right there. This never appeared before.

TRY THE VIDEO DEMOS FREE FOR 7 DAYS
Logging, history, Stats, records, backup, and export are free and stay free. The 1,000+ animated exercise demos are now free for your first week, then one $19.99 purchase keeps them forever. Your days left show under Profile → Full Access.

HIGHLIGHT COLORS
Pick Orange, Blue, Red, Green, Pink, or Purple under Profile → Preferences and the whole app re-tints instantly: buttons, charts, heatmap, backdrop art, and even the app icon on your home screen.

BODY WEIGHT FROM APPLE HEALTH
Turn on Profile → Apple Health → Import body weight and your weight follows your latest weigh-in, so pull-ups, dips, and assisted lifts always count the right load. A weight you type yourself stands until Health records a newer one.

START FROM ANY EXERCISE
Browsing the library with no workout running? One tap starts a new session with that exercise and drops you on the Workout tab ready to log.

A BRIGHTER LIGHT MODE
Light mode now has its own branded backdrop instead of a flat gray screen, and it follows your highlight color too.

NEW PLATINUM APP ICON
The arm went platinum, matching the refreshed look across the app and onboarding.

IPAD POLISH
Bigger quick-log buttons on the set keypad, and the exercise demo video opens near the top of the screen instead of mid-screen.

### 1.9 — 2026-07-26

TitanLog 1.9 — Light mode, and credit for timed work.

LIGHT MODE
Pick Light, Dark, or System under Profile → Preferences. Set it once and the whole app follows, including the screens you stare at mid-set.

TIMED EXERCISES NOW COUNT
Planks, isometric holds, and loaded carries used to score zero volume, because volume meant weight times reps and a plank logs no reps. Now every 10 seconds under load earns credit. A 40 kg Farmers Walk for 30 seconds reads 120 kg, and a 60-second plank counts your body weight the same way your pull-ups do. Two-kettlebell and two-dumbbell carries double first, so the number matches what you actually carried.

That total shows next to the set and flows into your workout volume, Stats, calorie estimate, and volume records. Stats and per-set totals reflect the new math right away. A past workout's saved total updates the next time you edit one of its sets.

DEFAULT REST NOW ACTUALLY APPLIES
The Default Rest setting used to be ignored. Every exercise fell back to its own built-in rest time, so turning the default down to 45 seconds changed nothing. Now your default is used everywhere unless you have deliberately given one exercise its own value. Set a per-exercise rest back to the default and it clears, so that exercise follows your default again from then on.

REDESIGNED HISTORY
Each workout in History now lists the exercises you did with your best set for each, plus duration, total volume, and personal records at a glance. Long sessions collapse the tail into a "See more exercises" line so the cards stay readable.

CLEARER TEMPLATES
Template cards now show the exercises inside them, and tapping anywhere on a card starts the workout.

FIXES
Exercise demo videos now sit properly centered, and on iPad the in-workout video pop-up opens as a centered sheet instead of hugging the bottom of the screen.
