There was a glitch in attempting to create an account via the app, so I did that part in a browser and came back to the app to login. I have sent email after email to get them to stop illegally taking my from my accounts. They have even debited accounts that wasn’t registered as payment for them. It’s a very frustrating experience and so I do not recommend using this platform. ### 1/5 — Can’t even create an account *2026-01-19, version 3.5.0* I tried to create a username and password three different ways. 1. The church organization hosting Tithe.ly portal.. the church website allowed me access to Tithe.ly but I was unable to create an account. Every time I clicked create account it just refreshed. 2. I went to Tithe.ly website to create account, with similar issues. 3. I downloaded the app, tried their and the site crashed three times before I could finish creating an account. This app is horrible. ### 1/5 — Create an Account Does Not Work *2026-01-05, version 3.4.4* The app is stuck at a black screen that simply says “Thanks! Create your unlock pin.” However, there is no keyboard shown in which to type, no blank text box in which to click, or any other way in which the process could progress. ### 1/5 — Practically useless *2026-01-02, version 3.4.4* It is almost possible to make changes to my account. Can barely navigate the website. Trying to cancel, but that’s not working either. Yet money is still coming out of my bank account. ### 1/5 — Can’t fix error *2025-03-24, version 3.1.7* I sent an amount to wrong place. They have no way to refund transactions Made in error. Def needs some bug fixing ### 1/5 — Deplorable by pass of Apple Pay security *2025-03-05, version 3.1.7* This app - while serving a useful purpose - severely compromises Apple Pay security by storing the card for reuse outside the Secure Enclave at variable amounts. I’m shocked Apple allowed this abomination into the App Store and will be emailing Apple to investigate. They really should look at other apps as there are many that work with Apple Pay as intended with secure per transaction validation. ### 1/5 — What’s the point *2024-11-27, version 3.1.5* Why does this app direct me to a browser interface? There’s literally no point to having this app take up space on my phone if it just leads me to my browser anyway. Edit: the last update was a year ago—maybe even longer. That explains a lot. Update: 4/20/20 This app is still terrible. Touch ID doesn’t work. I’ve given the app permission to use Touch ID so many times and every time I try to log in it always makes me input my password and pin and then asks again if I want to sign in with Touch ID 😒 you’d think with two years to work on it the latest update would actually make the app functional but all it does is make the green background a little less harsh. Update: 11/27/24 App is still terrible. I guess there was a recent update that logged me out and also deleted all my account info so now I have to create a new account and set everything up again. Honestly, what’s the point. ### 1/5 — Worst experience with an app EVER *2024-11-22* I’ve heard the tithly name being thrown around for a while now. Our ministry is just now starting to make enough money for it to matter, and we gave it a try. Literally, from asking inappropriate and unnecessary questions on signup, to the signup form freezing on submission, to “invalid token” errors on the web browser, to not being able to login to the app without a EIN, to no tech support, to even their AI chat bot freezing up, to clearly providing generic AI responses to bad reviews, it’s been quite possibly the much frustrating 30 minutes in recent memory.
