I often make collages on one program and add text with this. The reason? In the collage app, you have to pinch the the text box to make it smaller or larger, which for me results in crooked placement. The slider feature ensures your text will be straight. I haven’t learned yet how to fully use this app, but I like what I see so far. ### 5/5 — Excellent!!!! *2020-11-15, version 2.6.8* I would literally die if I didn’t have title and toastmaster. They have turned my photos into mere mini movies. I have been using Title since it’s inception. Now if I can just get this for video. Developers stay on top of things by keeping updates current with iOS and app is stable. Usability on this app is very intuitive and user friendly. I can't think of anything needs for improvement. I’m currently using this app on my iPhone XS and 2020 iPad Pro 11” on the current iOS as of June 16, 2020. It works great! A GREAT, easy-to-use, amazingly versatile tool for adding text to photos in impressive fashion. I’m going to enjoy experimenting with this. Especially with so much junk in the vast, ever-expanding ocean of alleged “photo-editing” apps ... all of which claim, but miserably fail to deliver, the same essential functions. The ability to have different fonts and colors allow the memes I create to have a bit more impact. ### 5/5 — An App that does a lot more than just text! *2019-11-20, version 2.6.8* By using the letter cap “I” and various other letters, symbols and numbers, Title FX can help repair and recreate areas of photos. I’ve used it dozens of times to actually create things. That you can match a color by simply holding your finger down on an image is great. Of course you can set text alone, but the app goes well beyond that. I wish that both size and angle could be set more accurately and that more fonts were available, but other than that it’s terrific. ### 5/5 — Easy to use, lots of options, love it *2019-05-12, version 2.6.8* I can’t believe how hard it is to find good photo apps, but this one works great for adding text to photos! Lots of fonts, colors and styles to use. There are no annoying ads and some pretty cool features. Especially when selecting colors for text and backgrounds. Just purchased it and still learning some cool things you can do with text. The nuances of smarts and detail reveal themselves. How good does a text app have to be to make you forget about using Photoshop! Being able to adjust the transparency is also key! I would definitely say it wasn't worth the money because I do design and I wish there was a way to use my own fonts! Please consider updating with more effects, fonts, and formatting! But I do love the options of the design of fonts. ### 3/5 — Fun but not great *2016-08-16, version 2.6.8* I wish there were more fonts, but that's not my real reason for giving only 3 stars. I want to be able to put text at the top, bottom and side of a photo and not be limited by the amount of characters. I'm limited with short text either top, bottom or side only. In other words, let me write all over the photo in strategic places. If this is possible with this app I hope to figure it out, then it would be 5 star rating. ### 4/5 — Easy photo titling app/ crank out a meme without missing a beat *2023-12-21* This is a very easy, simple way to add text to your images. A pretty good list of fonts and text effects (not comprehensive, but enough to do most of what a basic phone app could ever do) to make a meme, add notes, or do some very basic photo edits. I’m sure there are much more powerful apps out there, but you probably already have those if you actually need that power or feature set. Downloaded a new copy and up and running again. ### 4/5 — Attractive Results from Easy-2-Use App *2020-04-28, version 2.6.8* Lots of titling/meme-making muscle here that’s simple to use, uncluttered interface, with a kizzillion text options. Ditto saving. Impressive professional quality, and friendly interface, too. It’s like the Swiss Army Knife for titling - how cool is that? I got this in a 2-app bundle; the other is a great (and equally feature-rich) photo editing app. The two work well for each other — and replace a clutch of visual apps that do one or two things sort of well. Any shortcomings? Yes. (1) No option for a blank screen, great for creating a quotation or similar text image. Creating a new “title” (basically a text box) requires more effort than necessary. Also, chunks of the help text/documentation and feature descriptions are confusing — and don’t capture all of the app’s impressive features and options. Still, Title FX is bristling w/extensive, hassle-free features in a small, strong package. You’re gonna like it. ### 4/5 — As of this second, IT’S THE BEST TITLER APP OUT THERE! *2019-06-10, version 2.6.8* I can’t think of anything negative about this App. IT JUST WORKS! And that is the most important consideration if you are looking for a titler. Looking out of this world is great...if you have lots of time to get there. But, who wants to spend days to get there, just try TitleFX and you will be amazed how quick you can reach your goal, and move on to your next goal. You’ll be glad you read this Review, and acted on it! I hate giving 5 Star reviews because I am afraid the developer might slack off. This developer has their focus way out there. I want to post day's winners with names, etc. Takes a bit of juggling to get the title AND supporting comments. But not too long. Couldn't keep in contact with Facebook Friends without it! ### 4/5 — Great App + A Question *2016-09-10, version 2.6.8* I love this app, I've been using it forever because it's so perfect, but did you guys remove the automatic centering features? It might be me having accidentally tampered with the settings or something along those lines, but I really can't stand not having that feature, it's the only reason I took off a star. I have chronic OCD and this was the best app I could find to help me perfectly align the text and whatnot. If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it so much! Again, I love this app, just need the centering feature back. Thanks! ### 4/5 — Still my favorite titling app... *2016-06-19, version 2.6.8* I use this app to watermark/sign all my finished work. One of the features I especially like is the ability to save a custom signature as the default state and have it appear in the same spot and looking the same way every time. I also like that I can save my signed images to the album I choose rather than to the camera roll which makes finding them easier when I decide to post one. But I haven't been able to make one of the new features work.. Either that or I don't understand what the update added. Thank you devoted developers! ### 5/5 — Easiest Meme Maker *2023-07-26* It is easy as opening up the app, selecting a photo from whatever library you have… tap the screen adjust to whatever type of font color effect you want move it to where you want to save it voilà you now have your very own meme! ### 5/5 — Very good, used often, but… *2023-05-12* I truly love this product and use it often but it has limitations. 1) First and foremost, some fonts need the bold attribute, without bold. They are not readable on some backgrounds. A font editor (italic, underline, cross through, etc) would be nice. 2) The ability under user control to extend background shading (often to the image’s edge) would be very useful. ### 5/5 — Still a favorite *2022-10-18, version 2.6.8* This lightweight app is still the best and most versatile option for adding text to images for online viewing.
