It was my pleasure to work with him. Always was very respectful and professional and really cares about his clients 2020 Nd still now has been hard on people but every time speaking with art he reassured me to stay positive and did his best to work with me in my terrible times. If there was just One thing I would complain about Is the Charges that are added on in between making payments, which has Nothing to do with the People that work there. But that’s the Penalty you have to pay when you need help from one form of Credit or another. Antwanette went above her obligated duties by making sure to explain the specific ways I could save myself money and avoid paying extra interest and fees by using the app online as well as if I decided to make my payments in the store. It was impeccable! ### 5/5 — I kid u not this is my review *2020-11-23, version 2.6.8* I never thought id b writing a freat review on s title pawn place, i never thought id pawn my title, i would never do that EVER, but here i am and when i tell you they have beny over backwatds to help me i mean it and the $ i borrowed vs what they want back is a better deal than any bank or credit card or person would ever give me, late fees included, these are the only people that respect u when u keep it real. It doesnt matter what ur story for being late or whatever ss long as its real they respect it, they dont judge you, and thats real and sadly extremely rare. They give the most cash for your title. They even gave us a second chance and we still got way more than we asked for. Chris was wonderful! He was super friendly, stayed later bc we ran past quitting time but he didn’t mind at all. He was fast and very personable. Thank you title max for saving the day!! Her level of customer service was exceptional and outstanding. I felt proud and very satisfied that I had come to the right place for a loan. She is the best, God bless ya’ll and keep you safe. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Loan sharks *2021-10-16, version 2.8.10* Ask to borrow $400 get approved for $1200 first payment $87 2nd payment $215 out of the $215 $35 goes towards principle they do not explain this to where you fully understand it they sugar coat it it gets out of hand you get behind they won’t except partial payments has to be in full wouldn’t except $150 had to be $215 or you’re behind title max isn’t allowed to operate in certain states because of outrageous unfair interest rates and they operate lije true loan sharks title max repossessed over 10,000 cars last year how is that “getting your title back with title max?” It’s not bc you don’t ### 1/5 — Only as a last resort *2021-03-30, version 2.7.5* Know what you’re getting in to. The contract doesn’t cover everything you think. You will owe money at the end, and find fees didn’t know existed. Fees are tacked into the principle instead of the monthly bill for the month that you accrued the fee. So when you pay it isn’t disclosed that the fee is there. Do everything else you can first. Ask your family. Pawn your tv, ask for an advance, sell a kidney, even scratch off tickets would be a better use of money. Use the app Dave, or another of those payday advance no interest loans. You pay 3 bucks and get up to 250 that you can pay back on payday. Do anything else other than this. 2600 bucks to borrow 601, is insanity. ### 1/5 — Waiting a week for my loan *2020-10-29, version 2.6.5* I applied a week ago for a loan, was approved, but never got a call back. I am a custodial worker @ Hamilton County Department of Education and need to commute up to 30 miles. I can’t do that without gas and applied for a loan online twice in two weeks. I was approved both times but never heard from an agent. I called the 888 number and was told I have to wait another 24 hrs for a phone call and deposit. How am I supposed to get home tonight? ### 1/5 — Not working *2019-09-22, version 1.9.4* I would contact you directly but there is no way to do it through the app because it’s broken. I had to call the actual store from Costa Rica because the app isn’t working. I informed the girl who answered the phone at TitleMax that I was not able to do it through the app she said she would contact I guess the app developer? And let them know. It is been a week and is still broken. I even updated the app. ### 1/5 — Never again!!!! *2019-08-05, version 1.9.0* I see all these glowing reviews and I’m suspect! My first payment is due and due to a paycheck error, I was told collections will began for being 3 days late and suddenly an extra $167 is tacked on! Man! What a rip off ! I’m going to borrow the money ASAP and get the heck away from these people. As if that wasn’t bad enough the female that answered the phone was rude and had an attitude which made me get one and I’m typically NOT that person! I only called to ask a question because I’m new to this again!!! NEVER AGAIN! New customer worst experience!! ### 2/5 — Borrow only if it’s last resort *2021-03-02, version 2.7.4* It’s predatory lending so the fees are high. If you can’t pay back the entire loan at once, your payment only renews your loan (I got a title loan), it doesn’t go towards your balance. Paying through the app can be hit or miss. I once entered my bank account info but they drafted the money from another account I had previously used which caused me A LOT of problems. Only borrow what you can back right away. ### 4/5 — Great way to borrow money without having to have perfect credit *2022-08-16, version 2.8.10* Great way to borrow money if you need extra cash before payday or just in general. Doesn’t require credit check unless your applying for personal line of credit or loan. The interest rates are affordable, very reasonable. You can choose to borrow little or the full amount your approved for. For most of us pawning your title usually means financial difficulties. Which causes major stress.
