## What is Titrate?

Every day there's one clinical case, and everyone on your board gets the same one. It's free.

Answer in your own words, the way you'd explain it to an attending, or pick from multiple choice. The auto-grader checks whether you got the medicine right.

AFTER YOU ANSWER

You get a score and what you missed. If a case or its grading looks wrong, tap Report an issue.

SEE WHERE YOU LAND

After an answer in your own words you can see how other people scored on the same case, with your score marked. Progress shows the same for your whole board.

WHAT TO STUDY NEXT

Your answers build a score for each topic on your board exam blueprint. You'll see it on Progress.

Paid plans add more graded answers and targeted practice. Topics lets you pick what your practice cases cover, and Review brings back cases you missed. Neither one changes the free daily case.

SPECIALTIES

Internal medicine (IM-ITE, ABIM), pediatrics (ABP ITE, ABP) and psychiatry (PRITE, ABPN). Pick more than one if you are dual training.

THE FINE PRINT

The question bank is still growing and coverage is limited. Cases can repeat. Use Titrate alongside your other study materials.

Sign in with Apple or an email code, and your progress syncs across devices. New cases and grading need an internet connection. You can turn on a daily reminder if you want one.

Titrate is a study aid for medical students, residents, fellows, physicians, PAs and NPs. Cases and grading are AI-assisted and can be wrong, so check anything that matters against your own sources. It isn't medical advice, it isn't for use with real patients, and it doesn't replace your clinical judgment. It doesn't guarantee any exam result, and it isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any specialty board or exam provider.

### What are the paid plans for Titrate?

Paid plans offer additional graded answers and focused practice. Options include Resident ($9.99/month), Resident Pro ($24.99/month), and Intensive ($249.99/month), with annual options also available. These plans enhance practice but do not alter the free daily case.

### How do I manage my subscription for Titrate?

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-21

- A new look, and a Home screen. The Case of the Day sits on it with your streak, your knowledge score and your weakest topic.
- Five tabs at the bottom: Home, Practice, Review, Progress and You.
- Answer the Case of the Day in your own words or as multiple choice, on every plan. The first format you pick is the one for that case.
- You can open the Case of the Day before making an account. We keep your answer while you sign up, then grade it.
- Review lists your recent cases with their feedback, free. Spaced review of cases you struggled with is on paid plans.
- Progress shows a score for each board, and each topic's score, weakest first.
- An optional About you section in You, for your role, field and where you train or work.
- On paid plans, answer format, difficulty and topics are now set on the Practice tab.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-05

- Concept checks: short questions on a single concept, mostly in psychiatry, with a few in internal medicine. On paid plans they come up in Practice and Focus, never as the Case of the Day.
- Some multiple-choice questions now ask you to choose several options, such as three of eight. Multiple choice is on paid plans.
- On paid plans, Practice now leans toward the topics and kinds of question where you are weaker or have not been tested yet. When there is a second question on a concept you missed, Practice may ask it on a later day.
- New knowledge map topics: seven in psychiatry, such as neuroscience and genetics, and one in internal medicine for ethics, safety and clinical epidemiology. Each appears once it has questions.
- After a concept check, the feedback can show whether most residents get it right or miss it.
- On the plans screen, you can now switch from monthly to annual billing, or subscribe during a free month from your program.
- When you upgrade, start annual billing, or go from a free month or free trial to paid, your monthly count of graded answers resets to 0.
- Fixed the password field's placeholder, which had its letters spread far apart.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-02

Feedback headings now match your score: "What went wrong" when a lot was missed, "What you missed" for the gaps, and "To go further" when you got it all.

Reinforce cards show the fix first, and the comparison curve marks the score of the answer on that card.

Clearer topic names on the knowledge map, and lab values no longer wrap away from their units.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-01

Your progress now holds up better when you sign out and back in, reinstall, or use a second device, and your streak stays intact.

Opening the app offline no longer signs you out.

If a grade can't run, you see why, and an answer you were typing isn't lost if the app closes.

Grading is faster.

The plans screen shows the plan you're on, shares link to Titrate on the App Store, and a lot of wording is plainer.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-29

No release notes.
