The app will direct you to a site that tells you to visit the nearest service center to purchase a code, all of which is in the Philippines. Not sure why they couldn’t build out a purchase in-app function to provide codes to update song lists. That was with the old GV App. This new app allows you to “download” the packs but you are unable to transfer to your Grand Videoke without a buyer code that you have to either purchase in the Philippines or call one of their service locations there. Terrible move on Grand Videoke end and more unfortunate for customers in the US looking to update their systems. Just got an update that I now need to switch over to this app but I’m stuck on the photo part. It doesn’t take a photo of anything nor does it give me any option to do anything else. Awful user experience from both companies. Was excited to use for my holiday family party tomorrow.
