## Most critical reviews (8 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No content

*2023-12-07*

Will not download any manpage content, and therefore currently worthless.

### 1/5 — Sadly it isn’t Too Long to Read

*2019-09-24*

I got the impression this was a man page app. It shows no switches, doesn’t link to man pages, it’s a simple command aggregator and a wasteful one at that. I wish I hadn’t purchased it.

**Developer response:** Hello davbran,

I’m sorry to hear you’re not satisfied with your purchase. I’ll try to improve the app description for the next release - thank-you for making us aware of its inadequacies.

You may contact Apple, if you wish, to get a refund of your 99 cents.

### 5/5 — Handy

*2023-04-11*

Nice. Thanx

### 5/5 — A time saver

*2021-12-31*

Feels like a cheatsheet for *nix that filters out the fluff for those times when you just need to recall the options for a particular command. If you work on the CLI, this is a must have reference. Check out the vim section and thank me later.

### 5/5 — So handy

*2021-03-15*

Excellent app, so handy to have all this info and your fingertips.

### 5/5 — Feature request: Personalization

*2019-08-28*

Amazing app! I would like the ability to edit in my own custom additions to existing commands. I know I can contribute to the open source project, but I don’t want to change the default for everyone. I just want to customize/personalize only for myself.

**Developer response:** Hello Chuckinator0,

Thank-you for the kind review :-)

The tldr project does accept contributions from users. See https://github.com/tldr-pages/tldr/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md

### 5/5 — Clean & Simple

*2019-01-27*

Probably one of the most useful apps for any developer or sysadmin. The only thing I suggest to add will be a filter for OS/Distro related commands. Great job!

**Developer response:** Thank-you for your kind words, Dubious1923.
Filtering is a great idea - I’ll look into it!

### 5/5 — Fast, lean and useful

*2018-02-08*

This is one of the better apps I’ve used on mobile. Responsive and fast, and the tldr content is incredibly useful. I hope to contribute to the tldr project at some point. Works flawlessly on my older iOS hardware. This honestly makes me excited for mobile development.
