Tested pipe sizing by velocity on a small unit heater I'm designing. 
70 psig
120 lb/hr
6000 fps max
500 ft

Result:
Steam temp = -316 deg F
1/8" nps pipe
497 fps
dP=3043 psi

I imagine the negative steam temp is a big part of the problem, but the pressure drop massively exceeding the pressure is big cause for concern too. 

I'll hold on to the app for a couple weeks to see if they release an update.

The app is decent, but it would be much more useful if the properties of subcooled water were included.

Great app considering its free. Would if be possible to add entropy to the steam tables however? It would be very useful.
