It can’t be used to buy tickets if you’re a foreigner / tourist so it has zero advantage over Google maps, which is more user friendly. The English translation also isn’t great. ### 1/5 — Non EU can't use the app *2026-04-23* Only those with a DNI / NIE identification number can use the app. Very disappointing to find this out after downloading the app, registering for an account, creating a password, verifying my email, and all that. Unfortunately, some features, such as uploading tickets on your mobile device, are only available on specific operating systems. This option is supported on Android devices (version 7 or higher) equipped with NFC technology. It is also available on iPhones running iOS 17.4 or later. ### 1/5 — Purchase cannot be uploaded to card *2025-10-30* Very disappointing. Purchases are charged to credit card but cannot be uploaded to card because of “reading errors” and are then useless. Also, refund is not possible due to “connection issues”. Retira la T-mobilitat i torna a apropar-la.” Al donar a “acceptar” per tancar la finestreta, tornar immediatament aquest avís. Apple devices not supported with the Cartera t-mobilitat app for BCN metro!!! *2026-07-24, version 20.37.2* Apple devices are NOT supported on the Cartera t-mobilitat app!!!! You can download the app, and buy a ticket, but NOT validate it, use it, at the gates! Now on apple and just not working at all. Basically the app works or dosn’t word depending on how it feels. The tmb wallet links then stops working. The phone card appears then vanishes. I’ve been trying the app since day one and today I’ve given up. The app doesn’t really work to unlock bicycles (at least not in a straightforward manner even after you activate a subscription), cancelling a subscription is a tenuous process in the app, and everything’s in Catalan. **Developer response:** Thank you for reporting your experience. Alle Abfahrts- und Umstiegszeiten stimmen perfekt. Da kann Google Maps nicht mithalten, da dort keine Busverbindung angezeigt werden. Keine Ahnung, warum Google darauf nicht zugreifen kann. I would be somewhere, type in either a point of interest or a train station and was given nearly instant perfect directions. It works for the trains or the buses and actually gives you the walking directions to the train station or bus stop you need to start from. It got to the point where my family and I would go to use it and say "okay, it's going to fail us this time" but that never happened.
