So if you use the Apple iPad keyboard, your iPad is horizontal but the app is sideways. As someone who is trying to go back and watch all of BNC its super annoying that the only way I can go back to where I was is by endlessly scrolling or, hopefully, remembering the exact date of where I was. Being able to filtered out all the videos I’ve already watched would be a tremendous help. However if I’m listening while at work using data. Or at home using Wi-Fi. The podcasts will just stop but it says it isn’t stopping playback. So then I have to restart the app and everything functions properly. I wouldn’t mind that if it happened every couple of podcasts or whatever. Bonus episodes are the best. Shoutout to the OGs for creating an awesome content platform. The only disappointing thing about the app is the design/functionality. I’d ask for a few things: 1. Downloads need to be native. It’s so hard to download eps onto my files (iOS), and the player never bookmarks where I left off. I always revert back to Spotify to listen when I’m traveling and off network (on a plane). 2. Make the user interface look cleaner. The mobile app is busy, especially with showing all forms of episodes on the feed. Let us click/tap through and select audio OR video. And hide comments/descriptions. It takes up too much room. 3. Mark as played. Oftentimes it’s hard to tell where you left off if you’re going back through old eps and want to catch up. Should be a things. 4. Save to favorites. Like an episode? Let me bookmark it. Would be a great feature. 5. iPad/tablet version ### 5/5 — Love the new app *2023-03-02, version 1.9.1* You can really tell they use to be coding engineers the app is crisp and easy to use/find content. I just wanna listen to the boys… (otherwise app would be 5 stars) ### 4/5 — Great Content and App; No Subtitles *2023-02-13* I enjoy the shows and the app runs well, but the lack of subtitles with the videos sometimes makes it difficult for me to follow all of what is said. I love tmg but this app is so brutal to use it has made me not want to listen anymore :( it never remembers where i left off and randomly the sound just cuts out but it still keeps moving through the episode so by the time it starts to work again like 10 minutes has passed by and it’s frustrating (and semi dangerous) trying to get back to where i was while driving. It is so hard to have everything in chronological order so I can listen to BNCMAP and then the very next close friends episode. Instead I have to scroll and scroll and scroll, not knowing the number that the close friends episode is labeled. So annoying. Also the comments take up a lot of space on the main page which clutters everything. ### 2/5 — This app sucks *2023-03-05* I love the tmg guys, and I have for years and will continue to but oh my god this app is terrible. Half the time it does not let me add filters. I try to select a specific date to catch up on what I missed but it simply doesn’t let me, and I have to close the app and open it again and try again. Half the time the podcast just freezes and no amount of buffing fixes it and I’m forced yet again to close the app and redo the entire process all over again. It’s annoying when I’m at work trying to listen to a podcast but it takes 15 minutes just to get one going. But one day, during my drive to work at the Saskatchewan Oil Rig, I decided to go to my recommendation on my Spotify podcast and decided to check the Tiny Meat Gang. It was a life changing. After only a few episodes, Noel and Cody gave me so much hope and inspiration to change my life and become a better man for myself and family. They’re helpful advice on finance, beating addiction, vacuums, and relationships made me the man I am today. I can proudly say that im a millionaire after creating a tech start up, in the best shape of my life, my family loves being around me all the time, and my wife adores me more than ever.
