Since the recent update you can no longer accrue coloured stones but now a single coloured gem. You don’t accrue gems overnight, only when you play certain stages. Needs more updates, events and bug fixes. ### 3/5 — More fun than I expected, but… *2023-08-22* When I realized this is more of a rpg and not a fighting game, I thought I’d tire of it quickly. But I really enjoy it and have played it pretty consistently. However, you quickly get to a point in the game where progress basically stops or is dependent on watching tons of advertisements, or spending absurd amounts of money on characters and upgrades. You can progress in the game by watching the ads, when they’re available, but for some reason the ads are frequently not available. Which means you’re basically stuck in the game until someone turns the ads back on and you can get enough upgrades to progress. There are so many fixes for this. Upgrades get exponentially more expensive. Can take 24 hours to get enough to upgrade one character a tiny amount after you get to a certain point, with multiple upgrades needed to progress even one level. They should either make the upgrades cheaper, and/or increase the amount of game currency you get, and/or just make those super annoying ads always available which increase your game currency to a reasonable level. Also, the actual money costs is totally absurd, $50 to not even cover one 4 star hero? The game was super fun, but it needs to be improved for it to continue to be fun. If the ads or anything else ever gets fixed, I’ll come back and add more stars. ### 2/5 — Second time downloading, second time I’ve deleted. *2023-03-03* Time and time again, this game just disappoints,with the fact that certain areas just will not load! This isn’t the first time I’ve had this problem, just ended up deleting it as a load screen that doesn’t ever load, becomes incredibly frustrating. Seems to get to a certain point in game play/player level up then it just stops. Developers are obviously not reading any of this info to take on board and fix these problems. I have played it to the point where I have been grinding for a good bit. The ads do not load for a while when the game boots. And some of the ads (state of survival) are well over a minute. It has been persistent enough and annoyed me to the point of writing this review. I have bought the season 11 and season 12 passes, but refuse to spend the ridiculous amount for the heroes I don’t have yet. IF the prices for the heroes that only drop in the 4 star gacha were lower, I MIGHT consider spending money to acquire them. As it is, this is now a game I play occasionally instead of an hour a day. Way to lose interest after a few months. It is worth playing up to a point, but after that it gets kinda ridiculous. ### 5/5 — Classic wonder *2022-09-04* Wonderful game and if your looking for the older turtles this is the game for you ### 5/5 — So cute love it *2022-06-25, version 1.48.0* I love it it is so cool you should definitely download it if you’re a ninja turtle fan at first it doesn’t have that many characters but once you get more into the game you get more characters it is a five star 100% you should get it and I’m not a robot I’m an actual kid that loves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and I’m not gonna lie you should download it the graphics are pretty good but the guy with the ski mask I forgot his name but he’s 100% ugly but everything else is pretty good so far I only have three of the turtles I only have Leonardo Raphael Donatello I don’t have Mikey yet but it is pretty easy to get three so right now I have three so you should download it ### 5/5 — Needs An Update *2022-06-13, version 1.48.0* I’m giving this game five stars due its level of addiction and how fun it is. However the reason why I mentioned that it needs an update is because it always gives the same heroes when you try to get more. It’s impossible to get a hero that is a star level one, two etc up to the next level because of this. I’ve been trying to get Leonardo to star level two but it keeps giving me the same ones all the time. ### 3/5 — Fun game with lots of glitches *2022-06-07, version 1.48.0* I’ve been playing this game for almost 2 years and have had lots of fun during the entire time. There have been several bugs, and the dev team has acknowledged these by giving in-game rewards as an apology. The most recent glitch that is causing this review to be 3 stars is the hero drive contents. Supposedly each drive has an equal chance of getting each hero. But in the last few weeks, I keep getting the same hero 5-10 times in a row. Mathematically this is astronomically low. But I still got like 7 Mikey’s in a row from 2 star drive, and for 3 AND 4 star drives I’ve gotten like 7 Genghis in a row. Whatever algorithm is determining which hero we get is totally busted. If I open 7 hero drives I should realistically expect 5 different heroes and maybe 1-2 repeats. Not the same hero EVERY time. I almost don’t want to open any more hero drives. Yesterday, my 2 star drive contents went from all Mikey to all Baxter. There is no variance or diversity. Please fix this!! Having it landscape would be much better when you have and iPad or sometimes iPhone you don’t see pc’s having portrait do you? No they have landscape and it works just fine. ### 1/5 — Dead Game *2024-01-20* Zero maintenance or bug fixing. The only reason to still play this game -Brawl event, has been broken for months. Developers could care less. Ignore this garbage and look elsewhere! ### 1/5 — Abandoned, buggy, and actively breaking *2023-11-03* They’ve not bothered to add content or patch anything in about a year, but somehow they have found time to break new stuff. I used to be able to reach level 828 in the “Channel 6 Rush” section of the game. Then several weeks ago I started not being able to beat a single level on a given day. So I started using the reduce 10 levels button…. Today I tried starting at 535 and got stuck at level 537, and tomorrow I get to try from 527. (You should be able to get 10 wins per day.) The rewards from there are a mandatory element of progression at higher levels … and now they can’t be gotten. Edit: Adding to all the above still not being fixed, clan siege has been broken for months with it claiming that your clan didn’t exist before it started, and I’m fairly sure someone has found a cheat because the recourse & hero competition winners invariably are some ridiculously large number dwarfing everyone else’s total. ### 1/5 — No landscape support on iPad *2022-10-12* Awkward to hold. ### 1/5 — Game Developers gave up *2022-07-09, version 1.48.0* This game at the very start had possibly and potential to be fun and enjoyable, but this game is broken. Dev’s refused to fix bugs and broken characters. Many characters remain unbalanced or plainly forgotten. Events are broken. Prizes have become a joke. It seems this game was a quick pay to play cash grab. Dev’s literally told player the game is done and no support or fixes would be happening!?!? Save yourself the frustration of trying this game. The best thing that could happen is the Nickelodeon sell this game to a better team of developers who want to make a good game for it community. Wish I could give this 0 stars for this is what it deserves. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2022-02-25* After playing this game since it first began i have finally giving it away, there was so much potential but like most game of this style it became more about making money without adding anything different to the game. They reply to your reviews without reading them and then delete your review when you call them out for addressing issues you didn’t even discuss in your review. Here’s a few- never fix flaws only bring out new characters to gain money from the pathetic. Events are made to be won by new players or paid ones. The new players can gain the most levels and complete more- since they have more left to complete. The paid players buy each new character since they’re always better than the last. They never update the equipment or other aspects of the game and there has only been 2 clan sieges in a year and a half, yet they advertise it as if it’s active. A lot of trolls with multiple accounts in clans with numbers after them. Turtle cobra Kai 1-8, havoc 1-6, exquisite 1-8, come on sheep, run your own clans. Break these up, create some competition- not a farm for stay at home basement dwellers. None of the developers have addressed the last review (2 stars) and it seems like they aren’t close to making an upgrade to this game to make it more enjoyable. I can’t tell you have many 2 star April O’Neils I’ve gotten off the draw. It’s insane!! Nobody wants to play with her much less keep getting star pods of her!! Give us a chance to go back in previous levels to help us level up our other characters and give us an opportunity to beat the AI or others in clash modes. You gotta do something to keep this game going because it has potential but I believe it’s being wasted on trying to get us to spend hundreds of our money. ### 1/5 — Pay or Watch Ads to Win *2021-05-05, version 1.34.2* It’s fun at first, then the nostalgia wears off. If you like banging your head against the wall hoping to get an ad to trigger so you can get material to level up with, and if you love the same false advertising ads that take you to the App Store without your permission so you can see their falsely inflated star ratings from click farms in Asia, then this is the game for you. 2 stars for nostalgia and really good music. Adding: Ads are becoming increasingly aggressive, forcing interactions, and one even forced me to log into Walmart so they could put their products into my cart (it failed), but I couldn’t get the reward otherwise even after watching the video. These type of ads indicate poor breeding by the parents (probably at least one being four-legged) of the losers who come up with these ideas, and if the devs don’t take action instead of being driven by greed, I will begin to think the same of them. Since then, because of consistent bugs during every update cycle, I’ve wasted countless hours of play in terms of the bit currency (used to obtain new heroes) and other currencies. People exploit the system regularly both thru cheats and some bugs and will absolutely decimate any hope of progress you might have. To top it off, their rng method for obtaining those luscious, hard to get characters is absolutely abysmal. As I said, I’ve been playing since launch and because of this rng and system abuse, I have lost every chance to obtain good 4&5 star rated characters. My roster consists of the absolute worst tier possible in the game and no amount of hoarding resources outside of dropping hundreds of dollars will get me to where that “loot” is. Avoid this game if you’re looking for a fun and engaging experience. You literally just idle matches in real time and collect characters. That’s it. Oh, and there is no endgame content. There’s nothing to do at all late game other than log in once a day and watch a handful of ads.
