Something changed and it didn't work anymore so I deleted the app for about 2 months. I just redownloaded it and most of the stories were on the same people who TMZ was reporting on when I stopped going to them for news. I think they fixed the issue that caused me to delete the app 2 months ago but I'm not really interested in the gene simmons, the zolciak family, the kardashians or prince andrews. Obviously they have some connections with these people if I can leave for 2 months, come back and I feel like I'm getting news on the same people. I bet TMZ probably posted pictures or news about emily ratajkowski recently if I looked for it. Maybe I'm out of touch and these are the only celebrities worth reporting on. You scroll, an ad directs you. You close the ad and go back to the ap, oh no another ad opens. I know these apps need ads but it’s TMZ. Over the years, TMZ content has become noticeably biased and geared towards a left-leaning audience, which takes away from its original appeal. It no longer feels like neutral entertainment, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for balanced (regardless of political party) or non-political content. Even the undertones of non political articles have traces of the authors political views. This review is based on 10+ years of having the app and enjoying content over time.
