## What is TNEB Mobile App(Official)?

After 53 years of journey the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board was restructured as per G.O.114 dated 08.10.2008 by establishing a holding company with the name "TNEB Ltd" and two subsidiary companies namely "Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Ltd.,"(TANTRANSCO) and "Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Ltd.," (TNPDCL) as per the mandatory requirements of the Electricity Act 2003. Accordingly TNEB Ltd., was formed on 01.11.2010.

App is good after the recent update in the UI. One feature which will be really useful is to add up multiple bills and pay at once. This feature is available currently in the TANGEDCO’s website.

They are faking the system but making us believe that the complaints are taken once registered but they actually mark as done without completing there job on real time after one or two days.

Doesnt work effectively with complaints. 
As usual no effective staffs to coordinate.

Dear developer, first the app work functionally well. Few areas that would need your attention 1. The handshake between the website and the payment integration has some deviation e.g. when the upi time is 3 mins down counter , the app moves to website and informs as logged out at 2.30mins. However functionally the payment is done. 2 The list in the payment section is not getting auto refreshed. So after payment also it shows the amount but when I click and navigate it reflects the payment is done. Please do through testing. Functionally it is worth using in this tough times , it just needs a through testing and clean up. Good luck and thanks I am a director in mobile application development company had faced these kind of glitches many times for our customer apps, hope this comment helps .

Made my first bill payment, went through without any hiccups. Only 1 star less as it replicates web interface instead of full fledged app. Could be better if proper app is developed

Already had a TNEB online account and used that to login to this app. The app asks you to "update your profile" and does not allow you to use the app unless you fill in all the unnecessary details like gender, marital status, occupation, date of birth etc etc. Such personal data collection annd customer profiling is only for selling our data to advertisers or for targetted advertising purposes. There is also no privacy policy provided. Uninstalled the app.
