Needs attention in usability and testing *2021-06-30* Dear developer, first the app work functionally well. Few areas that would need your attention 1. The handshake between the website and the payment integration has some deviation e.g. when the upi time is 3 mins down counter , the app moves to website and informs as logged out at 2.30mins. However functionally the payment is done. 2 The list in the payment section is not getting auto refreshed. So after payment also it shows the amount but when I click and navigate it reflects the payment is done. Please do through testing. Functionally it is worth using in this tough times , it just needs a through testing and clean up. Please add billing history and fix the glitches so that I can rate rate five stars. ### 4/5 — Unable to receive receipt *2017-12-29* After paying amount unable to receive receipt ### 4/5 — App looks Good! *2017-12-13, version 1.0.4* The app looks good and able to access the important processes such as transaction history, bill pay etc., Once you input the username and password it will pull out profile details correctly which is good but my profile doesn’t have a mobile number associated with it so instead of prompting the user to enter mobile number it displays an error message to enter occupation which has data already and confusing. Having said that, I would like to appreciate the efforts taken by TNEB to bring out this app which has made life easier. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Complaints Zero response in real time *2024-08-28* They are faking the system but making us believe that the complaints are taken once registered but they actually mark as done without completing there job on real time after one or two days. Doesnt work effectively with complaints. As usual no effective staffs to coordinate. Pathetic TANGEDCO. ### 1/5 — Why does TNEB need to know my gender, marital status, occupation etc. to use this app? *2020-11-21* Already had a TNEB online account and used that to login to this app. The app asks you to "update your profile" and does not allow you to use the app unless you fill in all the unnecessary details like gender, marital status, occupation, date of birth etc etc. Such personal data collection annd customer profiling is only for selling our data to advertisers or for targetted advertising purposes. There is also no privacy policy provided. Uninstalled the app. ### 1/5 — Typical Government type of functioning *2020-11-14* I think even though TNEB officials get expensive iPhone as a gift from their corporate clients, they never pay their EB bills using this iOS App, otherwise they would’ve rectified the problems which we have been facing dor so long. This App is not working when we choose credit card payment option for very long period, still not rectified ### 1/5 — No debit card option! Only one account? *2020-07-06* There is no way to add another account. Have to completely register again every time. Also doesn’t accept debit card of all except a couple banks? Waste of time. You’re better of just using the website. ### 2/5 — Not so useful app *2020-05-18* I use this application on iPhone. This application helps to know the energy consumption bills. Pathetic payment gateway makes it painful to use. No UPI option available. Credit card payment user interface is very confusing. Worse, the application feedback leaves you with no choice. Similarly it would be great if you can add a payment gateway under debit card tab as well which also should function. There are a few glitches. Not able to save receipts. Not user friendly. Would be comfortable to use the internet browser in a computer system instead of this application.
