To My Dear is a quiet place for that.

For each of them, you can set down the words you'd leave and the things you'd give — and slowly see what you truly value.

• Things you can still do — what you'd rather not put off
• Notes to yourself — what thinking of them reveals about how you want to live
• One quiet question, each day

■ What it quietly does not do
• It never sends your words to anyone, automatically or otherwise
• No posthumous delivery, no family sharing
• No streaks or rankings to rush you
• No ads

■ Storage and privacy
• Your records are stored on this iPhone
• Nothing is sent to the developer's servers, and the developer cannot read what you write
• With iCloud sync, records stay in your own private iCloud — tied to your Apple ID, synced only across your own devices
