All the information is now at my fingertips. ### 2/5 — What’s going on? *2025-05-04* I’ve been using this once handy little app for a few years, but the search function seems to have gone downhill of late. I’m finding that it’s not showing me titles that I want to save - often showing me lots of books by an author I’m searching -except the title I’m looking for! ### 2/5 — To read app *2024-06-17* I really like this app. Friends recommend books and I add them to my list so when I am at library, bookstore, or downloading a book I look at my list. That’s a bit too basic. ### 2/5 — Lost my list *2023-07-10* I have been using this app for years and loved it. Today I opened the app and the only books in my list are the few I entered this week. Everything else is gone. Going to use a different app from now on. ### 4/5 — Almost Perfect *2023-04-05, version 3.1* Great App that I have been using for a few years now. Super easy to search and add books to my never ending “to read” list. It really needs a filter to sort the list by author though. That would make it 5 stars for me. ### 2/5 — Not working like it used to *2023-03-02* I would give this app 5 stars for the several years I’ve been using it. Unfortunately, after a recent update, the app won’t load fully. When I open it, the screen is blank for almost ten seconds before the dozen or so most recently added titles appear with animated “loading” icons next to them, but then nothing happens (at least for a full minute, I haven’t given it more time than that). It is unresponsive. This is really too bad, because the app has been great for years up until this recent update. I moved to Open Library too eagerly, and too many books were missing - sorry about that. Your library is untouched and there's nothing to migrate this time. ### 5.1 — 2026-08-14 To Read 5.1 Search got better. Translated books were showing up under their original titles instead of the English ones, which made them easy to miss. That's fixed, and study guides no longer crowd out the real book. Books that aren't in Open Library still won't turn up, and I'm working on that. ### 5.0.3 — 2026-08-11 Fixed a bug where searching for a name containing apostrophes wouldn't return any results. Thanks to the user who submitted the report :) ### 5.0.2 — 2026-08-09 Fixed a small search related bug. ### 5.0.1 — 2026-08-05 To Read 5.0.1 A round of fixes for 5.0. The Unread and Read tabs were showing the wrong books. That's fixed, along with a crash when deleting a book and another when editing categories on a book you'd just added. Open Library has had some outages lately, so search now retries when it's slow instead of giving up, and tells you when the problem is on their end rather than your connection.
