You have to contact the restaurant yourself. I was looking at the menu and my old orders and somehow accidentally pressed “place order.” There is no “are you sure?” Or double click method to avoid accidents. There is no cancel option. When you select cancel, it has you call the restaurant and the restaurant doesn’t answer. I went to message the restaurant to n Facebook and see that I did the exact same thing four years ago. “Place order” taking up the entire bottom row of the screen is the problem + no way to cancel. ### 1/5 — Don’t like all in one place. *2026-07-24, version 3.19.0* I don’t like this idea some restaurants are using to keep all my logins in one place. I prefer separate apps so that I can manage places and credit cards independently. Unless you are at home, app opens by verifying your address is correct for delivery order. Maybe it’s designed for delivery customers but I use it to order pickup. Next, a pop up asks you to review your last restaurant. I order coffee almost every morning and clearly will not review every day (nor should they want me to). So I have to click through two meaningless questions every time. Not enough trouble to stop using the app (no alternative) but what a poor user experience. It is the opposite of their option to “order your favorite” once you get to the home page. Also, the rewards cannot be used when ordering through the app, only manually at the register (in person). The restaurant could not help and said multiple customers had complained. These issues would be so easy to fix. ### 1/5 — No support from Toast *2026-07-22, version 3.19.0* You won’t receive any support from the Toast team if a restaurant does not fulfill your order (missing item, not honoring a refund, etc.), which means this app has little to no use. Ever time I try to order I get invalid card. I have unlinked and re added multiple cards and none work. Terrible app and extremely frustrating. All for some myopic dolt at the company to force a self-sabotaging metric that destroys the brand longer than their tenure. Did private equity already buy this thing, or is the company just dumb? Toast SPAMS push notifications 🚨 that I did not opt in to, and there is NO WAY TO OPT OUT 🚨🚨, so notifications are now disabled through the OS (again: ZERO controls within the app). Waste of time!! ### 1/5 — Removed Map *2026-08-20, version 3.23.0* Every time I opened the app, I would press on the maps to see Toast restaurants around me. They had a map in the left corner of the Home Screen to find restaurants. As of today, they removed this feature leaving no real way to search for restaurants than aren’t force fed to you on the Home Screen. One cannot see a quick view of restaurants around them any longer. Additionally, their own ai customer service isn’t even aware of this change and all Toast marketing material still displays clear button for map view as well. Quite literally every single other food delivery company provides this feature, even overseas. The best, the biggest, the classiest — all of them. But Localz Sports Bar & Grill? Wow. Absolutely unbelievable. People are talking about it, they really are. THE TOTS First of all — the tots. Not regular tots. Not sleepy, low-energy tots. These are the most incredible, crispy, beautiful tots you’ve ever seen. Perfectly golden. If potatoes could win elections, THESE tots would win in a landslide. A TOT-slide. Huge! THE CHICKEN WINGS Then I had the wings — and let me tell you, these wings? They’ve got more flavor than Congress has excuses. Perfectly cooked, perfectly sauced. Some of the finest wings, maybe in the history of wings. People kept coming up to me saying, “Sir, how are the wings?” And I said, “They’re fantastic. Maybe the best ever. Maybe better than mine.” THE GHOST PEPPER STEAK & CHEESE And then — the ghost pepper steak and cheese. Now listen, I’m tough. Everybody knows I’m tough. But this thing? This sandwich fights back. It’s spicy, it’s bold, it’s got more heat than a White House press briefing. But it’s also delicious — powerful. A strong sandwich. A winner. THE VERDICT Localz is doing amazing things. Incredible things. The service? Terrific. The food? Tremendous. The vibe? So good it should be illegal. If you haven’t been, go. Go fast. Tell them I sent you — they’ll know what it means.
