Toastie turns your iPhone into a toaster. Make a grilled cheese sandwich from scratch: butter the bread, lay on the cheese and fillings, and put it in the toaster. Close the lid and it starts toasting in real time. Open it too early and the cheese hasn't melted; leave it too long and it burns. Take it out at the right moment and you get a perfect toastie. HOW IT WORKS • Butter the bread with your finger: cover the slice, on the right side. • Drag the cheese and fillings onto the bread and spread them out. • Hurry: customers are waiting. You have 15 seconds to build each order. • Press GRILL, close the lid, and wait for the sizzle. • Open it to check, or trust your timing, then serve. • Every sandwich gets a score card: recipe, plating, toasting and prep time. Five stars turn it gold. • Four stars unlock the next recipe. 10 RECIPES From a Classic Grilled Cheese and Cheese & Tomato to Brie & Cranberry, Kimchi, Mushroom & Taleggio, Pesto, Tomato & Gruyère and The Works. White sandwich loaf, sourdough and brioche, 14 real ingredients, each with its own recipe card. MADE FOR IPHONE DUO Toastie plays on any iPhone and iPad. On iPhone Duo, the phone itself becomes the toaster: fold it shut to close the lid, and open it to see how your sandwich is doing. ALSO • Share your toastie to Instagram Stories or X. • Your progress syncs with iCloud across your devices. • Game Center leaderboard and achievements. • No ads, no tracking, no in-app purchases. The creativity is unmatched. The game itself is really good. More levels + free play mode will make it a LOT better. And I saw the devs talking about it already so I can’t wait! ### 5/5 — I hope to add Chinese. Thank you! *2026-10-29* I really like this game, but I hope it can be translated into Chinese! ### 5/5 — Fantastic game on the duo *2026-10-29* This one is a standout awesome game for the duo. Some levels are a little too challenging though. ### 5/5 — Super fun *2026-10-28* I don’t usually write these. But I think it’s definitely worth it. Its a fun little game to pass time by. And not only that but some of these recipes look amazing and I will be trying them. **Developer response:** Thank you! 🥪 ### 3/5 — Language *2026-10-28* Bonjour, à quand une version française ? ### 3/5 — Nice niche game *2026-10-27* Fun but not much content for the price ### 3/5 — Please add free mode *2026-10-27* it’s supposed to be relaxing, also meat options would be nice ### 4/5 — Fun *2026-10-27* I like this game a lot but it needs a lot more recipes there is only 10 currently. **Developer response:** Hey, thank you so much for this review - honestly means a lot to us! We hear you - 10 toasties is not enough! We agree and that's why we've prepared 3 more for Halloween. But we are work night and day now to get you a new mode along with more recipes and exciting new features! ### 3/5 — Good but *2026-10-27* Has potential, but it's currently too simple, with too few gameplay options and a 15-second time limit that's too short. Additionally, I hope to see support for Simplified Chinese added. **Developer response:** Hey useMemo, Thank you so much for your review - we love to hear constructive feedback! We hear you on the gameplay options - we are working super hard to bring you a freestyle mode very very soon! That should also make for a much less adrenaline pumping gameplay! We hope that the current Halloween special will satisfy some of your cravings! :) ### 5/5 — I love this game! *2026-10-27* I seen someone TikTok play this on their duo, I just received mine and immediately downloaded it. This game is pretty fun, I will say the 15 seconds makes it pretty challenging sometimes but still a great game overall. **Developer response:** Thank you very much!! This means so much! When designing the came, we wanted to make it slightly more challenging! We will be introducing a new freestyle mode with no time pressure where you can create you favourite toasties and share with friends! Stay tuned for that! ## Frequently asked questions about Toastie ### What is Toastie? Toastie is a game that simulates making grilled cheese sandwiches.
