PLEASE CONSIDER THIS *2023-06-16* Best toca boca game yet and I am hooked on the color changing monster, and I love the concept of the secret ancient recipes, like in the elevator and in the overgrowth of the hallway. I also love the slime room with the different types of slimes. I am completely hooked, but there should be some secrets like a secret room. Maybe when you get all the achievements a secret locked door will open and you can get upstairs and there would be things like a room where you can take monsters you make downstairs and battle evil CPU’s and each monster has a different ability combination, kind of like Pokémon. Also, you could unlock new ingredients to make new monsters. Nonetheless, I am so hooked and I love the gameplay, and I would be more than happy to willingly write a 5-star review for even a small update with more content. ### 4/5 — Amazing, but.. *2022-07-24, version 2.1* This game is an amazing app. I love it. But, there isn’t much to do and a lot of bugs that need to be fixed. Toca mystery house is better than all their other games combined. (Even though toca business tower was really fun.) One minute you’re making music with trolls in the basement, the next you’re up in the heavens exploring weird lamp things. All though one thing I really recommend is a story. In the game, we just appear in this haunted house, when we have no idea what to do. I read the description for the game, and it was really cool. The story could go like this: you appear in Halloween, and you’re trick-or-treating and you arrive at a big house that looks really spooky. “Let’s skip this house,” says your friend. “I’ve heard rumors about it. My brother says there’s a troll in the basement!” You start to wonder about it. The next day, you ask a friend if he’s willing to come inside. He says he’s prepared. You arrive at the house, and you hear a strange noise. Your friend runs away screaming. You’re left trapped in the belly of the beast. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Total rip off do not get *2023-07-12* This game is the worst I finally get anof money to get it cuz it looks cool and then only three doors and an elavator it’s a scam a total scam do not get it i thought it was gonna be cool with those pot head dudes but only three heads of combinations and the frog well you can find a list but it’s torn so you can’t see the last ingredient and so I tried to find what was suposed to go there in the mini game and no match oh the elavator who likes a head that does nothing but dance I heard it’s teeth are like a piano so I’m checking and who likes weird eyeball goo even if there’s a vacume just don’t download it total rip off. ### 1/5 — This app was a waste of money *2020-06-14, version 1.0.2* I bought this for my daughter. It was only interesting for the first 30 minutes and then got very boring. The four areas are quite simple and quick for kids to get bored on “fridge” one as not clear what to do. When downloading the game it looks cool at first and advertising. When you actually start the game you only get to “explore” two doors and a stair case that basically leads to nothing and an elevator which also leads to something boring. So last night my sister walks into my room and says “what was that Toca Boca game with the elevator troll and the slime in the fridge called?” And I was like “umm... I think it’s called Toca Mystery house or something” so she got it on her iPad and I wanted it too because it was nostalgic, So I got It and ITS 100% WORTH PAYING THE FIVE DOLLARS. Especially if you had it when you were little too.
