## What is Tock?

Fill the clock. Mind the tick.

Each turn, a number appears — the tick. Tap left or right to swing the clock hand that many slots around the ring. Wherever it lands, that slot lights up. Light all 12 and the ring clears for a big bonus.

But every slot you re-hit stacks higher: mint → amber → red → shatter. Shatter a slot and it's game over. As the clock fills, safe landings vanish and you're threading the needle with mental math you didn't know you were doing.

One decision per turn. Left or right. No menus, no clutter, pure flow.

EASY TO LEARN, DEEP TO MASTER
Underneath, Tock is the cyclic group Z/12 — but you'll never see a formula. You'll just feel clever when you steer the hand three turns ahead to nail that last dark slot. Good players plan. Great players make it look like luck.

TWO MODES
• Standard — untimed, pure strategy. Think as long as you want.
• Blitz — a mainspring timer drains constantly. Clean landings wind it back up; sloppy stacks starve the clock. Play clean or wind down.

DAILY CLOCK
One fixed puzzle every day, same for everyone. No helpers, no timer toggle — just you and the sequence. Compare your score on the daily leaderboard and build your streak.

HELPERS (FAIR PLAY GUARANTEED)
Three tools to get you out of trouble:
• Unwind — drop a lit slot one level
• Jump — place the hand anywhere
• Freeze — pause the Blitz timer for 3 seconds

Earn helpers by clearing rings. Buy refills with Cogs (earned in-game or purchased). Every helper is earnable through play — never pay-to-win.

Runs using helpers rank on a separate Assisted leaderboard. The Pure leaderboard is skill only — no amount of spending can touch it.
