Outdoor sports is great, fun and healthy - no matter if you are on track with a mountain bike, race bike, commuter, pedelec or E-Bike. But what if you crash and lose your consciousness despite a helmet? In the open terrain or on a remote street? Nobody nearby who can help you? Then Tocsen will help you! The system consists of a crash sensor which is mounted to your helmet and a smartphone app. If the sensor detects a crash, an alarm will sound and your smartphone will ask how you're doing. Unfortunately, when I tried to change my phone number on the app it stopped working. Nothing seems to be bringing it back. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2024-05-04* I put in my phone number then it says to check internet connection and it can’t send me a verification code. Tried to get help on the website but I got a lot of ‘that page doesn’t exist’ messages so gave up. Very badly designed. Not at all worth it ### 5/5 — Gute Lösung für Solo-Fahrer *2023-11-08* Bin oft alleine mit dem MTB oder Gravel abseits unterwegs. Bei einem Sturz werden mit Tocsen automatisch meine Notfallkontakte alarmiert. Die 112 wird auch automatisch angerufen, so kann ich - sofern Netz besteht - zumindest von unserer Rettungsleitstelle - sehr exakt lokalisiert werden. Mein Sicherheitskontakt ist auch Bergwachtler - das System ist so super für mich. Der Support ist auch lobenswert - antwortet schnell und bietet Lösungen! ### 5/5 — Super Produkt - super Support *2023-03-09* Seit 3 Jahren bin ich zufriedener Nutzer des Tocsen und habe ihn zum Glück noch nie gebraucht. Nach 3 Jahren mit jeweils 1000h bei Wind und Wetter gab es zuletzt ein nicht zu lösendes Problem, weshalb der Tocsen ausgetauscht werden musste. Das kann immer mal passieren und der Support war super, schnell und einfach. Ich habe direkt einen Ersatz bekommen. Leider ließ sich einer nicht mehr aktivieren und hat wohl ein Problem mit dem Akku, aber nach Kontakt mit dem Support bekamen wir sofort Hilfe in Form eines kostenlosen Tocsen. Mit dem Tocsen hat man einfach die Sicherheit nicht ewig im Wald zu liegen wenn was passiert. Einfach zu installieren, einfache intuitive Bedienung. Ständige Weiterentwicklung der App. Und super Service. Mein Tocsen hatte einen Defekt. Hab mich an Tocsen in Freiburg gewendet und bekam umgehend einen Neuen zugeschickt. Hatte allerdings auf einmal das Problem, dass er sich nicht mehr mit der App verbinden ließ. Mit dem Kundenservice Kontakt aufgenommen und nach noch ein paar Versuchen bekam ich ganz schnell einen neuen Sensor. Den defekten zurück gesendet und alles wieder gut. So sieht wirklicher Kundenservice aus, vielen Dank. ### 5/5 — Seit Anfang 2020 immer noch unschlagbar *2022-05-28* Seit nun mehr als 2 Jahren nutze ich die Tocsen Sensoren an meinen Fahrradhelme. Und die Funktion kommt überzeugen nach einigen Stürzen. Der Sensor mit der App funktionieren hervorragend. Bis jetzt hatte ich noch keine fehl Auslösungen. Immer nur dann wenn es definitiv gerechtfertigt war. Die Zeit bis zum absetzen der Meldung ist gut gewählt, ja neulich hätte ich mir ein paar Sec. Mehr gewünscht, aber im Nachhinein betrachtet ist es immer noch besser die Kontakte anzurufen und Bescheid zu geben das alles i. O. Ist und man nur nicht rechtzeitig an das Handy gekommen ist um den Alarm abzubrechen. Als das wichtige Sec. Im Notfall verstreichen. Auch bei Fragen und Problemen wurde ich hier gut Beraten, schnelle Rückmeldung auf Anfragen und kompetente Hilfestellung Bei Probleme. ### 3/5 — Gut, aber Datenkrake *2021-04-30* Die Funktion für den Nutzer leuchten mir ein, aber nachdem ich die Notfallkontakte installiert hatte bekamen diese die Aufforderung die App zu installieren. Bevor man diese nach der Installation öffnet sollen erst mal ne Menge persönliche Daten eingegeben werden und Mitteilungen und Standortfreigabe erlaubt sein. Wenn man die Mitteilungen erlaubt (was mir logisch erscheint) dann kommt immer wieder die Meldung, dass man doch Bluetooth aktivieren soll und das als Helfer, warum??? Auch als Nutzer möchte ich nicht die ganze Zeit den Helfermodus inclusive Standortfreigabe aktiviert haben und darüber ständig informiert werden, wenn ich selbst unterwegs bin dann gerne auch als Helfer. Daten sind ein sensibles Gut, das muss besonders als Notfallkontakt verbessert werden...
